+ -1 moreUse his services. He's not big on the Internet, when I first met him he wasn't even sure how he ended up on Angie's List. He simply charges by the hour and then gets to work, and work he does! Simple, basic, good old fashioned work ethic with an eye to his craft. Honest and no-nonsense. We will use him again.
Description of Work: Steve Peterson provided the labor and we provided the materials. He painted all the fascia and barge boards on the outside of our house after we had a new roof put on, but before the gutters went up.

+ -1 moreIt couldn't have gone better. Steve is your classic "Iowa-farm-boy" that is no-nonsense and works very hard (and efficiently). I can't say enough about him. Because he's a one-man business (but hires a regular second man for many large jobs), he doesn't bit the work. He works "time-and-materials"... passing his paint cost on to us. His rate was an unbelievable $25/hour, but is now $30. We had the work done last September (5 months ago), and we're having him out again for some interior work.
Description of Work: We had our house exterior painted. Our job was difficult because it was all "high wire" work (due to our home being on steel). He believes in the old hand-brushing (and rolling) as opposed to spraying.
