About us

Hello, I'm Kevin, Owner and operator of Lionheart Fire & Hearth, LLC dba Refiners Fire Services. My goal is to provide quality service at an affordable rate year after year. If I can't fix it, I don't charge. When I service a direct vent gas fireplace, 80-90% of my service does not require parts replacement, just a bit of expertise in cleaning and adjusting and knowing when to replace a part and when not to. I also install wood stoves and inserts, install and service freestanding gas stoves, inserts and built-in fireplace, install and service firepits and BBQs. I can extend and install gas lines indoors or out and underground. Cold, windy, rainy days still ahead, if you enjoy a warm cozy and romantic evening with your spouse in front of the fire, but it's not working or looking so good.... call me! I will come out and inspect, clean and adjust it so it's warm and cozy I have been in the industry for over 20 years and now own and operate my own fireplace business.

Kevin was asked to give us an estimate on replacing our gas fireplace, which we had been told not repairable. He gave the existing fireplace a thorough cleaning, sprayed the entire inside with a rust control product, tuned it up and fixed a faulty wiring issue, all for a fraction of what a new fireplace would have cost including replacing the tile surround. He was courteous, very neat in his work, cleaned up after his work very efficiently. I highly recommend this company.

Regner's showed up on time. He was extremely knowledgeable even about my old gas fireplace. Gave me several options, fixed the ignition problem, added some "embers" AND fixed my fan which had been out for years!!! Great value for the money and he is my "go to" guy from now on. So happy to have found him!!
