We waited for many weeks and were not contact by this conpany. After a number of calls to them and leaving messages, we finally got a returned a call. They said they would sent it to us on E-Mail but that never happened. After more repeated calls, we never got a call back and never got a bid spec from this company. Finally wrote them off as non-professional and threw the contact information away.
Description of Work: This person showed up and we went over the scope of the project we wanted a bid for from him. This was a major remodel on our kitchen, bathroom and pantry. They spent about 2 hours with us getting all the details and measuring up so they could provide a bid. They stated it would take a week or so and they would get in touch with us to review.

Early in the project we learned that Jeremy Parsons intended to move to San Diego to work with a business partner and he assigned a new manager to our project. We have shared with Jeremy that the quality of work done by this project manager was less than satisfactory. Specifically, we had issues with: 1. Subs and the project manager not honoring our original agreement that all work needed to stop by 7 pm each evening. We had to repeatedly ask subs to leave as late as 9 pm and the project manager himself showed up unannounced to work in the house after 8 pm. 2. The hardwood floor/carpet sub was put in the position of refinishing the hardwood floors at the same time other subs were doing work on other parts of the house causing an extraordinary amount of dust and dirt being spread throughout the house despite the sub's efforts to the contrary. 3. We chose to move out of our home for 2 weeks as the work being done and the ever changing work schedule of the sub's precluded our ability to stay in the home, despite what Jeremy and the project manager had indicated when we laid out the scope of work. This added unexpected hotel fees to the cost of our remodel. 4. We moved back into the house only to find siginficant dust, dirt, paint overspray and paint splotches on our new tile, granite, shower glass and carpet. 5. We did perform a walk through with the project manager which generated a punch list, which was not fully completed despite the fact that the project manager said the work was completed. In all fairness, we did not pursue the ommissions on the punchlist as we chose to simply pay our bill and close out the project. While Oregon Trail did offer to bring in a cleaning crew and did offer to address our concerns, the quality of the project manager's work did not instill confidence that the cleaning or repair crew would do any better work than what we had experienced to date. For example, the project manager said he vacuumed the house before leaving; he actually vacuumed around most of the furniture, some of which was still stored outside of the room it belonged in, leaving carpet bits under all the furniture. This lack of attention to detail caused us to ultimately move all of the furniture and revacuum. While Oregon Trail did offer to come out to clean and fix holes, gouges and marks on our walls, we declined the offer as we chose to make the repairs ouselves. We have now hired window cleaners, duct cleaners and spent 2 weeks of evenings after work vacuuming, dusting and cleaning paint splotches. We will be caulking the new woodwork in the bathrooms by the sinks that was installed uncaulked, along with repairing holes and gouges in the walls. On the bright side, we found the tile, shower glass and floor subs to be fantastic.
Description of Work: We were referred to Oregon Trail Remodeling - specifically Jeremy Parsons - by neighbors who were very pleased with the work he did on their home remodel projects. Based on our neighbor's experiences, we hired Oregon Trail to remodel two bathrooms (tile, shower, tubs, vanity, sinks), repaint a master bedroom, install new can lighting, replace carpet throughout the house, refinish hardwood floors and reface bathroom cabinets.

the subs being 'delayed'. We cannot think of any problems that we should be informing any one. Do know though that the work was just completed and then we had to leave the state for awhile. As a result we have not used the facilities much. We do have people checking on the house and the room and so far no problems.Since they is our first remodeling, we did not know about possible delays or whether it is a concern. A daughter-in-law said that the time lines and delaying were very minor compared to what they went through in their remodeling with a different contractor. I think the website has pictures of the remodeling.
Description of Work: The master bathroom was completely demolished and remodeled. The biggest decision was to decide to have a tub and shower or just a shower. We decided (after much research) to have a large tiled shower. The bathroom was in the late 60's-early 70's decor--one piece bathtub/shower (champagne pink) with the toilet and sink the same color. We had dark cabinets, vinyl flooring. Everything was taken out and replaced with a tiled shower, new vinyl, new toilet (with a washlet), new sink, new white cabinet with towers, new paint. The cabinet style including drawers and towers was suggested by the contractor. All the sub-contractors were very careful with the rest of the house. They were professional and very good with their work. We especially liked the tile man. He was excellent and had some wonderful suggestions. He did work late one night so we did have him for dinner. He did fantastic work. I need to have everything to be precise and it is. The cabinet maker came out to take measurements and suggested the height which was lower than the contractor. Thank goodness. Otherwise, the counter would have been too high, I believe. The flooring went down nicely. It is not tile but it looks like tile(vinyl). We need to repaint some places on the walls. The old paint is seeping through in places. Some paint was left so we can do touch ups. The painters did come out once to correct some issues--painting around the cabinet, lines against the tile of the shower. I have to mention also the lady that works with the contractor Jeremy. Her name is Rae and she gave us wonderful suggestions as to colors tile, glass inserts, paint. She did not push her thoughts. She did the gatherings at the stores and we eliminated. Very helpful. Any problems we thought we had--just a call and either Jeremy would come out asap or give a sub-contractor a call to clarify. I suppose if there was a problem it was scheduling of some of the work. But we just made it clear before the scheduling when we had to leave the house and then the subs knew and then left before the time. As to punctuality, sometimes there was a problem with time settings and some of

It was an absolutely great experience. This was the first time we have had a remodel that required a general contractor, and happily they were on time, on budget, and 100% responsive to any questions or requirements. The sub's were all very professional and hard working. I saw or spoke to the GC daily. If I had a question, I was able to reach him without difficulty. If an option presented itself that might cost more, I was contacted and given the choice. No surprises. I had independently gotten bids before I chose Oregon Trail, and they were either equal to or better prices. I have zero hesitation in recommending them.
Description of Work: We remodeled our master bathroom. They demo'd the bathroom and then installed radiant heat, tiled the floor, shower and tub surround. It looks great...and believe me it needed it! We also recarpeted about 75% of our 3200+ sq foot house, including two staircases.

Marc gave me the estimate and answered all my questions. Time was set up for installation and materials were selected. They hauled away all old materials. The installers were professional and friendly. They separated the kitchen from the rest of house with plastic while working on the granite. They made sure I was satisfied with the installation. The only subcontractor was the plumber and he also was professional and provided his card if there were any problems. They completely cleaned up all messes. I felt like Marc was overseeing the whole project either by phone or in person. The final payment and walk through was made a few days after the installation. So I had time to check the work out completely. I was very satisified. This was new experience for me and glad it went so well.
