NW Professional Hardwood installed Acacia hardwood floors in our great room, dining room, primary bedroom and walk in closet when we replaced the carpet. The installers did an amazing job with the transition from the tile to the hardwood. They showed up when they said they would be here, kept the work area as clean as possible, and communicated any concerns. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome as the quality installation really wows.

NW Professional Hardwood did almost 1,100 SF of hardwood for us in late July 2021. Stefan was professional and very easy to work with. Our project included removing about 600 SF of carpet and replacing it with new oak to match the 500 SF of existing oak floors. The new wood was “laced” into the existing planks and sanded, stained, and finished with two coats of Swedish finish. The finished floors all look fabulous. We had a few minor callback items that were handled cheerfully and promptly. Stefan and his crew did an outstanding job and we highly recommend them.

tefan came referred to me by Macadam Flooring in 2019. He installed 2200 sq feet of new hardwood and two staircases in our 1980s Lake Oswego home and matched it to an existing floor. We had him install soundproofing underneath the hardwood. He had to work around uneven subfloors, outlets in the floor, fireplaces, and transitions to tile and linoleum. All the work was flawless. His crew was on time, hard working, met their target date and did outstanding work. His price was reasonable. In 2021 we hired Stefan w to stain and refinish 1000 sq feet of floor for our 1998 Vancouver home and install another 200 sq feet extension. The floors were greyed from water and traffic damage. They had stains and cupping from water and pet urine. They look phenomenal-brand new. The old hardwood looks the same as the new. He gave us a very fair price. The work was completed 5 days early. NW Professional Hardwood has been the most reliable, professional and competent contractor I have ever hired.

Stefan and his team were fantastic. They installed about 800sf of white oak solid hardwood in our kitchen and living areas. The work was done quickly, on time, and we are very satisfied with our new floors. Stefan was also able to offer a great price and was very friendly throughout the whole process. We feel very fortunate to have worked with them and would highly recommend them to others.

Excellent job and very trustworthy. Stefan worked with us to help pick the color blend that we were looking for with the stain. The floors turned out great and the wood in the new rooms blended perfectly with the old floors.

Stefan and his crew did a very good job on a detailed and tedious floor re-finishing project. The project included the treads on a staircase with three ballusters on each tread and a rounded bullnose with detailed trim on the front of each tread. NW Hardwood did painstaking work on sanding and prepping the floors and stairs. They also came back and re-sanded the bullnose on the front of the treads and re-coated the stairs to ensure a perfect result. We would definitely hire them again

Stefan was great to work with - professional, communicative, punctual, and clean. He got us into the flooring wholesaler so we could pick out our flooring in person, and the price was very reasonable. His team tore out our old flooring (carpet and vinyl) and beautifully installed the new hardwood. They were very clean with the tear out and finish work. We were so happy with this project, we had Stefan install new floors in a house we were selling and recommended him to our brother in law for their flooring project.

I was concerned how the project would turn out since the flooring had 1/8" gaps between the slats. Stephan did a great job filling and getting the floors looking smooth and flat again. I was impressed with the quality and the price.

Stefan and his crew just finished installing a large hardwood floor in our family room. This was a particularly difficult job because it required lacing an existing kitchen floor with the new family room floor. In addition, it required trying to match the color of an older hallway floor with the new floor. Stefan did extensive research to find the closest sealer to match the color of the older floor. We did not know what was used on the older floor so, through dogged research, he was able to track down the previous installer who did the work 8 years ago to find the right sealer. Stefan was very patient and conscientious through the whole process, and would not use any sealer until he could get as close as possible to matching the existing floor. In addition, his pricing for this challenging project was very competitive. The overall result was excellent and we would not hesitate to recommend or use his company again.

Stefen the BEST floor expert I ever had, my floor is maple which is very soft and difficult to deal with, its special texture and grain makes it hard to apply the stain color we want, but Stefen tried every possible way and everything to meet our requirements, and he and his team did an amazing job, now we have a beautiful floor with the color exactly we want!he is the SO professional and tried everything to meet our requirements, and I am also very impressed by every single tiny detail too! everyone in his team is awesome! I will definitely go back to him when I need to and recommend him to everyone!

It went great. A good, hard working crew. Stefan and his two helpers were on time and worked hard. The stairs were not typical, but he found a way to make it work. They were good about explaining what was going on when I had questions. Would hire them again.

They did a fantastic job!! You can’t tell where the old floors end and the new begin. The finish (color and sheen) is even the same as the old existing floors! We couldn’t be happier. In addition they answered all our questions and got the job (3 rooms, hallway and stairway ) done in five days start to finish. This included removal of carpet and existing flooring down to the sub floor! The picture is of the hallway where they had to join the old and new. As you can see it is impossible to see where the old floor ends and the new begins!!

Stepan was one of many bids we got, but we liked his profession approach best. He delivered on time, in budget, and the results are excellent.

Went very well. Competitive, but not lowest, bid price. We wanted an installer experienced with modern water based finish instead of older Swedish solvent-based. NW Pro has a lot of experience with Bona Traffic HD, which is the premier water based finish. The crew was prompt, courteous, friendly, and clearly knew their business. Without prompting, they repaired a few areas that we had not noticed. Dust collection was quite good. Minimal odor. Floors are gorgeous. Highly recommended.

The job went well. The floors look great. Started and finished on time. Left the work area clean. Protected rest of rooms from the dust. Answered my questions.

Work: Arrived on time, worked quickly, was a pleasure to interact with, and above all delivered beautiful results. No need for touch ups/revisions/follow-ups - his team got it right the first time! 10 out of 10 would hire again and would recommend to others.

We were very happy with the work done by NW Professional Hardwoods. We were able to get an estimate very quickly, and then to schedule within just a couple of weeks of getting the estimate. The price was considerably lower than all of the other bids we received. They were here working for 2.5 days, and they were always on-time and friendly. And the final product was beautiful! We would definitely hire again.
