Adam seems nice enough but his product is extremely poor. He did the preparation and color application to two different concrete floors, both brand new construction. The jobs both turned out terribly from the first go. We ended up with a monochrome drab and dull surface that was too easily scrached. He came back to try to re-do the job and it didn't come out any better. I had a huge white stain that he explained was vapor coming out of the concrete and not his fault. After a ton of research with the supplier of the material, I came to find that the suppliers had major issue with the way that he applied their product. Through my research, I found that dozens of complaints have been filed about this company. We ended up abandoning the concrete surface completely and covering it with other flooring.

We spent more than $8400 to have our pool deck re-surfaced by NW Creative Resurfacing (NWCR) in 2011, and by 2013 it was starting to crack and chip. When I contacted NWCR this spring to ask them to inspect their work and do repairs, I received contradictory information about whether they warranty the product, their work or neither. I've concluded it's neither unless one wants to pay for repairs (materials + labor) -- i.e., they will fix their work during the warranty period at your cost. For $8400, I wish we'd poured new concrete -- now we're looking about about $1500 every few years to repair cracks and reseal -- not to mention the hassle of reporting them to the contractors board. Another client on Yelp also had their pool deck resurfaced by NWCR, and within months their concrete was cracking.

They showed up on time. They put a acid wash on the driveway, walkway and patio. 2 men worked really hard and got it nice and clean ready for the process. They then filled all the cracks in the driveway. (They didn't like the filler I had previously put in, so they removed most of it). They put the base coat on, We chose almond. Followed by the highlights, which softened the color of the driveway and gave it life. To break the large look of the driveway, they then ran an applique of brick up the center. This was all followed by the sealer. They did such a beautiful job. We were just thrilled at the look. The whole process took over a week. I was not happy though when I discovered that 1 of the helpers cleaned and dumped his water in my landscape, that left a white grainy residue. HOWEVER. thats when the the trouble started. After a few weeks I noticed I was sweeping up what looked like sand and the color seemed to be fading. I called Adam, the owner and he can out and took a look. It had rained during the last of the process and he decided they may now have let the driveway dry out enough before the final application. After several weeks they can back out and pressure washed the drivewy. In doing so some of the filling they had put in some of the cracks washed away, and they didn;t bother to refill them. After letting it dry, they then applied another coat of sealer. The following summer I called again, because the driveway deteriorating again. Adam came out again and after a long conversation he finally agreed that it was not the same conditon as the walkway, which was under cover during the winter. It seems they were booked solid and couldn't come back and do anything until October. Never heard a word from him. Then next summer when he came out, I was informed he would have to charge for it. Considering that when I agreed to have the original work done, I was told I would never have to do anything again except have more sealer applied every 5 years. this did not set well. Almost $6,000 for a driveway that looks pretty sad.

We contracted Adam in the Spring, so we had to wait until the weather was consistently warm and dry to do the work. We had an existing 1950s ugly, rough and cracked concrete slab that we wanted to replace, but Adam was able to come in, fill the cracks, resurface the whole thing and give a great color and texture pattern to the slab, also and quot;paintingand quot; in a border of decorative bricks around the outside. It was a long wait due to the weather, but a great, great solution to the problem we had.
Description of Work: Resurfaced and colored existing 1950s patio slab and added a decorative "brick" border around the outside.
