KORY WILLIAMS CONSTRUCTION

The project took 18 days to complete. The weather was extremely unpredictable which delayed the project by at least 6 days. They typically started at 8:00 am in the mornings and ended at 5:00 pm. Kory had as many as 3 additional workers on some days, but no fewer than 2 during the final day of cleanup. Kory was extremely particular about how the roof was installed and actually took the time to correct some aspects of the roof in order to maintain certain certain slopes and drainage. They were very professional in their work and kept me informed of each aspect of the project. I was somewhat impatient about the time it took to complete and continually had to remind myself of the triple-layer roof we chose, which is much more difficult to install and the extremely difficult steep pitch of our roof. Overall, we are extremely please with the outcome and know this will greatly increase the value of our home.

During a strong storm a quick dripping leak had developed through a fan in our home. Kory had replaced the roof for us a handful of years back so we gave him a call. Kory came out that same day and discovered some tree debris had caused a bit of back flow in the water, removed the debris and leak stopped. Kory is responsive, professional and provides quality service and product.

Although it has been several years since Kory worked for us, I see he didn't have any reviews on Angie's List and thought he deserved some praise. Kory was originally recommended to me by a friend and at the time he worked at a local roofers supply. He did a complete tear down and replacement of a roof on a house built in 1937 in inner SE Portland. This work was done in the in the late 80's or early 90's as I recall. The home had completely rotted wooden shakes underneath layers and layers of shingles. Everything had to come off and be replaced including new underlayment. This was a small bungalow and the new roof looked fabulous when done. Kory even suggested rolling the edges which really made it stand out. Soon after we sold that house, the home we purchased required a new roof. Kory had since formed his own roofing company. Our current home is a ranch built in 1957. This was a much less extensive reroofing, but Kory still did a super job and love the color he helped us choose. He also put flashing around the chimney and installed some roof vents. More recently in just the last couple of years he also completely replaced the roof of my elderly neighbors directly across the street from me and also reroofed their former house located around the corner prior to selling it. They have been very happy with his work as well. Kory's price was fair and competitive, he was responsive and did what he said he was going to do. Although it has been several years since he worked for me, I have recommended him to several of my friends and neighbors. Nice guy and you won't be disappointed in his work. The real tale of a great roofing job is that even after all these years we have not had one stitch of trouble or one roof leak and it still looks pretty darn good.
