Rude and Sexist. This morning, the constructions workers began at their lawful time at 7am, with their saws and hammers and banging. Thats the law, fine. However, if such noise is going to be happening at such an hour, the neighbors have a right to know how long the construction job will be going on for. So, when I went down to go to work, I asked how long the job would be going on for. The response I received from the person I assume to be the foreman was a dismissive and curt, "LADY, we can legally start at 7am, I don't know what to tell ya." Well, thanks for being so defensive right off the bat. Furthermore, that was NOT the question I had asked. I asked how long it was going to take. Angered, I pressed on, asking if that meant that it was okay to completely disregard the rest of the neighborhood, like the children across the street or behind them, of the people who work at night who live below me and the next house over? Again, I was met with no respect and a dismissive "LADY, I don't know what to tell ya." Well, sir, you could have answered my question about the duration of the project and treated me with a little respect. I can guarantee you that if I had been a man, he wouldn't have come out and said right away, "MAN, I don't know what to tell ya." Rude and inconsiderate. So by all means, hire this company if you want to disrespect your neighbors and any woman who happens to ask them a question.
