Badly. The tile setter was argumentative. After a consult regarding design layout, the gentleman argued that full instructions were not given about the design. Displays were laid out, as well as full instruction. He was contentious and quite disturbing to have around. He was slow in his work habits. The bid for the job had been a high $800 for the job and due to his lack of ability, the job took longer than expected and the owner charged us more for the job. Slate tiles were put in backwards and ends were cracked. The tiles were not sealed before placement and a less than thorough wipe down of the tiles left grout on many of the tiles leaving a sloppy and awful finish which marred the entire project. Metal roping in the design was covered over in grout as well. The contractor was made aware of the problems and has not made contact regarding repairs. So far $100 has been spent to remove grout from the roping. More will have to be spent to replace backward and chipped tile.

Project completed very timely, even with a 2 day rain delay. Sufficient amount of workers that were able to perform the job within the time frame discussed. Exacting and efficient work on all phases of the job.
