Description of Work: On June 12 or unreliable heat pump died. We were interested in getting quotes from several contractors. One (thru Costco )never returned our call. Honke heating couldn't come out for a MONTH to give us a quote(couldn't imagine how much of the summer would have passed before they could have had a system in) |Turning to Angie's list ,we found Hoodview. Brian made an appointment early the next week AT OUR CONVIENCE. He saved us money by telling us we didn't need to change out the parts of our system which weren't having problems. That really spoke to his honesty ,he could have up sold us,but instead he sold us what we needed and made sense! His quotes came back quickly. He kept in touch to answer our questions to help us choose what was right for our concerns. |He showed up on time on the appointed day and started to work . He explained that his distributor ,who is normally very reliable ,had had a glitch in their system and so he only had the internal unit and would need to drive from Sandy to Milwaukie to pick up the exterior unit elsewhere .When he got there it was not the right unit. One of those days . We've all had those days where if something can go wrong it will. At this point instead of throwing up his hands and saying I'd have to wait till Monday, he kept working the phones , finally located a unit somewhere and had it rush delivered to the house. He was calling people as far away as Tacoma. He was going to get this done!:-) |WOW! It was 97degrees that day and they really went the extra mile knowing Saturday was supposed to be 99 . Exceptional service. |Today it's hot but I'm cool. So glad we chose Hoodview. They are honest,reliable and will go the extra mile to give their customer outstanding service. Two weeks before the other guys would even price us out a system we are nice and cool during a heatwave that looks to last at least ten days! Can't beat them!
