We called on a Sunday morning and left a message. At 8 AM Monday morning I received a call from Brian asking how they could help. I told Brian my situation and he said he could get a technician to our house later that morning. Because my wife and I were at work I asked if he could call my wife 30 minutes before the technician was to arrive, Brian said no problem. My wife got call and met the technician at the house just as we had requested. Furnace problem was found quickly and within a short time my wife was back at her work. Great service...

The serviceman was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. Overall it was an excellent job of rendering prompt effective service. They were very punctual. They also recognize the importance of seniors' needs.

Good vibes began with phone call to Hoodview's office. Receptionist was friendly, professional, asked appropriate questions. While I held, she called installer Brian to confirm time for estimate. When Brian arrived, he was actually a couple minutes early. Before entering the house, he insisted on putting on shoe covers in consideration of carpeting, which he and his technician did on installation as well. Brian was neat, courteous, and professional. He carefully measured each room in the house in addition to counting air vents, and asked good questions as to our intended use of the AC system. He then entered all data into his laptop to accurately calculate the appropriate system for our house, all the while explaining everything clearly. On installation day, Brian and his other technician arrived right on time and got right to work. By day's end, the system was up and running perfectly and all debris cleaned up. Follow up for additional vent fix was prompt. Very satisfied!

I'd had a local competitor come out and was rather disappointed with their lack of punctuality, knowledge and poor customer service; they did not diagnose the issue properly and spent much of the time talking about things other than the work needed. In contrast, Hoodview was on-time, quick to figure out the issue and had me back in "cool air" in very little time. The representative found the AC coil clogged with at least an inch-thick layer of dust and debris, something the other guy didn't even consider. He cleaned up the workspace well and never strayed from a professional demeanor. Sorry I wasted my time on the other guys, but I know who I'll call next time for certain.

Wonderful. From the beginning, it was clear that Brian knew his stuff and took his time to calculate the appropriate system for our house. Considering our experience with a previous house involved the choice of an AC unit that was too small, Brian spent time calculating our AC and heating loads to accurately choose our system. He also introduced us to heat pumps, something we didn't know much about previously.

Person was on time and polite. Found the A/C unit was low on coolant. Added coolant. Tested the cooling system and heating system.

The work was done well. Everyone was polite and went out of their way to keep all areas clean.

Initial contact and info from receptionist was excellent, time line for scheduling an appointment was very good, technician performed the job excellent, communication was good, (he did smoke in our garage ugh). We purchased a prepaid two visit contract, but no contract was sent to use as told by technician. Other than the smoking he was professional, polite and thorough.

Overall, it went fine. The office was very good in letting us know when the serviceman would arrive. It is nice to have a reliable heating and a/c service locally.

I was very happy and impressed with the attitudes and service, of both the gal who answered the phone and the technician. The gal on the phone actually had me try a couple of things first to see if the fan would come on which I thought was very nice.

KC was slightly late that morning, but the owner called and explained the delay. Once I showed KC all the components involved in my system, he quickly found and fixed the problem. He cleaned all the filters and outside systems which are more complex than average, due to the size of my home. He was considerate of my home, taking his shoes off and returning all parts to their proper place before leaving. I was very happy with their response time, work and price. I will certainly use their service again when needed.

I made a service call request about three days ahead of time. He was there on time and wasted no time making repairs.

Brian responded very quickly, got an estimate out to us immediately, followed up with us after we received a couple of estimates. His was the lowest and he has done a good job for us. He knows his stuff, is timely and performs well and kept us in the loop as he went along.

They have an excellent yearly program that takes care of the annual A/C service and a furnace checkup, along with preferential service and 10% off any other calls. I was very pleased to find someone who could take care of these things the same as the old retired guy my family has used for 30 years. Very nice people.

EXCELLANT, ON TIME, AND WAS VERY POLITE. THE BILL I PAID WAS A LOT LOWER THAN I EXPECTED.

I got three bids and this company beat all other bids. They were prompt, said exactly what they were going to do, asked me if I wanted any of the parts they were taking with them from the old furnace, and followed up with me. I've had my home for 15 years and I've never received better service. Also, Brian called me and reminded me about the tax breaks (twice). He mailed me what I needed, hightlighted where I needed to sign and followed up with the forms. I recommend this company 100%.

The price seemed reasonable, and the new furnace works great so far. Everyone we dealt with at Hoodview was courteous, prompt and explained everything thoroughly. There was some confusion over an optional extended warranty, but Brian Barrie helped us understand everything we were paying for and did not pressure us to purchase anything we didn't want or need. The work was done quickly and well, with minimal disruption to our lives. Hoodview handled everything, including getting the gas line connected to NW Natural. I would not hesitate to recommend Hoodview to anyone for a similar service.
