Brian Barrie installed a gas furnace for us after a free estimate. I was impressed that he actually measured the rooms in the house and took note of the kind of windows we had in order to size the furnace. I knew the one we had was too big for the house, but the new one was even smaller than I had thought. It has no problem heating the house and keeps the temperatures at a more consistent and comfortable level. Installation was on the day promised and Brian was punctual. It took a little longer than expected, although still the same day, due to a duct piece needing replacement, but Brian went and got one and installed it at no extra cost to us. The furnace works great and passed the city inspection with no problem. I appreciated that the work areas were left clean and that Brian wore shoe covers in the house. All in all, a good experience and I would recommend the services of Hoodview Heating.

They had met our expectations. They came, they did it and left, I had no problem. I'm expecting to have that kind of service. There was nothing outstanding. They would be a contender if I needed services again in the future.

He called us to say he was running early and could be done early. And of course we obliged. We have used them for more than 5 years and he has always been professional, punctual and thorough.

Lightning fast response time. I called at 8am and he was here at 8:30! A basic response charge of $97 covered the diagnosis and applied toward total cost. Repair cost was given before additional work. Routine servicing of unit and furnace was done at reduced rate. Declined to join annual service "club" which wasn't much lower than their regular price for service. All in all they were very good and will use them in future if needed.

When we had a problem with a bad loud noise, it stopped just before he arrived to fix it. There was no charge even though he cam out twice for the noise that would quit.
