Description of Work: I can't remember the exact date now, but it was a Big Deal thermostat installation. The only down side to the process was that we have an oil furnace and the thermostat works in a totally new way from our old one. I called them New Year's Eve concerned that our furnace was running constantly instead of the way our old one overshot the mark and then took awhile to come on again. They told me that the new way was actually more efficient. I won't know for sure until I get my tank filled again if the usage changed dramatically one way or the other. Anyway they did a good job doing the actual installation.

Description of Work: We contacted Hoodview for an estimate on a A/C unit via the internet. We received a response the following day and scheduled a date. Bryan came to do the preliminary house-call. He was punctual, extremely knowledgeable and professional. The following day- we received a "Thank You" note from Hoodview (handwritten!) thanking us for the opportunity to present his company and products. I was truly surprised that this level of professionalism still exists. Hoodview is a family-owned company and this truly allows time to give that personal touch and emotional connection that often is non-existent these days. I would highly recommend Hoodview to anyone looking for superior workmanship and a top-notch finished job!

Description of Work: We began using Hoodview a number of years ago. After a couple of years we had them install a completely new system of heating and cooling. Brian has always presented a professional; well versed in his trade. Today I made an appointment for him to come and inspect our system prior to the beginning ot the heating season. He is always on time and is available all days and hours. We prepay for our Spring and Fall inspection every year. This obtains for us a better price, and currently if you have to have him come after hours or on holidays, there is no overtime charge. His wife helps with the scheduling, and they both are very good about helping with questions by phone. We had him install a fully digital thermostat, and at first its complexity was difficult to master. They patiently helped us by phone. We are satisfied with every aspect of service and would not consider another company.
