ORKIN

I called Orkin for service on 6-7-16 and set up an appointment to remedy what appeared to be possible ant issues in the garage. The gal that set it up seemed competent enough and she put me down for a next day 4-7pm time slot (I told her I'd be home at 4:10 actually as it takes me 10 minutes to drive home). I arrived home at EXACTLY 4:10 and instead of finding an Orkin truck at my house I found a business card with "Quinn's" name on it...nothing more...just his business card....no message. As the card had his cell number listed I called the number immediately and my call went to his voice mail. I told him that I was at the house and asked that he call me ASAP. I also called the 800 number on the card and had to leave a message as they were apparently busy with others. After waiting an hour or so for him (or even his phone call) and waiting for a return call from the 800 number on his business card, I decided to call each of the two phone numbers a second time. Again Quinn's went to voicemail and now the business card 800 number said it was after hours..."leave a message" In a last ditch effort I called the online 800 Orkin number and talked to a gal that said she'd get me with customer service, she took my number and put me on hold...for about 5 seconds, then she hung up on me. As I knew she had my phone number I presumed she'd call me back and waited for my phone to ring. It's now 2 and 1/2 hours after leaving 2 voice messages for Quinn and more than an hour since "Customer Service" had told me they were on it. I've seen incompetence before but never on this level. After seeing first hand how Orkin operates I guess I should feel fortunate that I never let them set foot inside my house. Needless to say 'll be taking my business elsewhere. Supposedly Orkin tapes their phone calls and I would encourage them to take the time and have a listen to these tapes. I would think that perhaps Orkin would choose to use these tapes as a training tool and use as an example as to how not to provide service going forward... and make something positive out of this fiasco

Sprayed entire area including outside perimeter for pests. Will follow up at regular intervals. Technician (can't remember his name) was excellent and a credit to the company.
