Description of Work: I have used Mr. Rooter in the past for my plumbing drain clearing. They have a great system that "scrubs" the drains with a high pressure spray. This service is great. The issue I have had is the add-ons that pop up. The last time I had them out to "scrub" and clean my drains, we were sold me a "plan" that gives you a adjusted billing scale and priority response. I thought why not, I had used them in the past, I will probably use them again. Well suprize. I called them out for a plugged bathroom sink. I snaked it, but the clog was not clearing. A "drain tech" came out and cleared the drain, but had to remove the p-trap. It turned out that I have to go to work, so I told the "tech" that I would like the p-trap replaced (it leaked in the past) and that would be it. My wife was home to write the check. Later I received a call from my wife that she had payed the $150.00 to get the drain unplugged, but the "tech" did not replace the p-trap and left it off. The "tech" said that the p-trap had a hole in it, and that it was soddered into the main pipe. He was only a "tech" and a plumber would have to come out to fix the p-trap. i was p*****. The drain was clear, but I still did not have a usable sink. I called Steve at Mr. Rooter, and he said he would "wave" the second call fee of $90.00, but would have to charge for the replacement of the p-trap that would be about $150.00, with our great service plan. I got home at midnight and took and look. The p-trap did not have a hole in it. The following morning I ran to Grover's, got a gasket for the p-trap (78 cents), and came home. It took me 5 minutes and a re-tighten to seal the leak, and away I went. I called Steve to let him know that his "tech" did not know a hole in the p-trap from a hole in his head. Steve was professional, but did not offer anything in return for the near rip off. Mr. Rooter pushes their "bioguard" liquid drain cleaned for $60.00 a bottle. They are really proud of this stuff. I have research the options, and found a great product for one quarter the price. I guess I am saying I feel like Mr.Rooter has tried to take me, and they have lost my trust, and will never use them again. Don't Buy the service plan, you might end up feeling like me.

Description of Work: My wife and i had a septic inspection done with a company other than Mr. Rooter while putting an offer in on a house, Turns out the inspector/pumper missed a few things. Thats when we called Mr. Rooter and all our problems were flushed away.
