Description of Work: Had Jim’s do a DEQ Real estate inspection. They not only didn’t do the inspection as per DEQ refs they passed off a bogus non certified inspection report. Not approved by the local or state agency. After I started having problems they didn’t return any of my phone calls. So I called out another company. They responded quickly and professionally and explained the system. After doing so they provided me with a re-inspection and the proper 8page DEQ inspection report. Not the one Jim’s gave me which was a single page that is not worth anything. The items Jin’s failed to catch and or disclose could have cost me thousands of dollars. When I called there office and finally got a call back. Debbi was far from helpful and blamed the attorneys. Stating that’s what they ordered which I found out was not true. I heard her change her story 3 times. To the point I was so frustrated that I had to get off the phone. There were other issues with this job. But my main was the lack of concern and that they only were after the almighty dollar instead of doing a good and honest job.

+ -1 morePretty well. We had a couple little communications miscues, but the guys did a thorough job and gave me some tips on septic maintenance, too. I will continue to use them in the future and to refer people to them.

I had some other issues with my tank that needed repair and they were able to recommend someone who was able to come right out and do the repairs. I didn't price out the job so I'm nor really sure how their cost compares, but it was in the range that I had expected.

+ 0 moreThey removed all the of the broken pipes in the area where the plug in the line was located. They ran water through the drain field to verify that it was working properly. They installed a new baffle and head wall at the edge of the septic tank and then installed new PVC pipes to the drain field with the correct junctions and connections. I am an architect and work with a lot of excavators and the two guys working here were very professional and knowledgeable, explaining all of what they proposed and installed everything in a timely fashion and below the original budget.
Description of Work: They repaired a plug in the line and broken pipe between the septic tank and drain field.

+ -1 moreEveryone in this company, from Debbie in the office, to Josh at the site of service is first class. Josh detected a hole in the baffle coming from the house to the tank. The entire process of pump out and inspection was done without incident and without any mess. Josh is easy to talk to and informative. This company meets with my approval at a level of A+. Their cost is higher than others but for me this is negligible. Josh said they would also send out a reminder when the septic tank was due for a routine pump out in another 6-7 years.

Debbie at Jim's Septic has just been a delight to work with to explain, gather documents, and tentatively schedule while my wife and I are waiting to see if escrow will continue re purchase of new home. If so, we will use Jim's and then get back to you with a final review, but so far, absolutely delightful interface. I am considered a very picky critical person and if someone acts kindly, treats me well and performs a wonderful service I will go out of my way to give them 4+ accolades. So far, the interface between customer and Jim's Septic a la Debbie is what all of our lives should be about.

+ -1 moreOn April 20th we had a plugged septic. As this was a Saturday we started with a company that we had used several years ago but there was no answer. The next call was placed to Jim's Septic Service. I spoke with Debbie, explained our situation and she said she would check about having people here tomorrow. She called back and confirmed that they would be here Sunday the 21st around noon. They were here before noon, found the blockage and pumped the septic. They did a super job and we look forward to using them again in the near future as we want a clean out put in. Happy to recommend them.

Description of Work: Septic tank was backing up into the house on Christmas Eve. Called another septic service and they would not even consider helping us. Called Jim's and they rearranged their schedule to accomodate us. They were going to be later than time told and they called promptly to advise the situation. They pumped our tank and unplugged the line to the house that was causing all the problems. They were fast, efficient and professional. We will definitely use these people again. I highly recommend them.

+ 0 moreI am purchasing a house and as part of the process wanted a thorough inspection of the septic system. Not only did he pump the tank, but offered good advice on septic tank maintenance. He also provided a map of the leach field at no extra charge after the inspection. I had traveled from Utah to Grants Pass to have several inspections completed over a period of 2 days so timing was very important. Jim's service was right on time for the appointment. I will definitely use his services in the future and would most certainly recommend him to others.
