This review is long overdue, but this company is excellent! Jerry knows his stuff and he and his wife Sherry are great!!! Will be our go to heating and air people.

Jerry showed up on-time and well prepared. He removed the old dryer vent and found that the design of the old vent was allowing tons of lint to buildup and block the flow (which could have caused a fire). he installed a new round dryer vent into a cool recessed dryer box. The new vent will not cause the dangerous lint buildup. He also inspected the rest of the existing vent duct and cleaned-up and hauled away all the old material. we can now push the dryer into place without crushing the dryer vent. Really perfect work. do yourself a favor and hire them for your next HVAC job.

. Sherry was very helpful and worked very hard to earn our business. We had received several quotes for a new Ductless system. We really wanted to use Grants Pass Heating because of there reputation and the way they treated us in general. Some of the other contractors were not as attentive or detailed in there proposal as Grants Pass was. We were nervous about spending so much money. Sherry was very re assuring and provided all the information we asked for up front. with the rating this company has from Angies List and the fact installed that Mitsubishi had them rated as a diamond contractor. The choice in the end was simple.. we went with grants pass and were not disappointed. They completed our project in 2 days . It took 2 days because of OUR schedule( not there's) which they graciously accommodated. If your looking for a high quality contractor that treats its customers like gold. there's no need to look any further. Mitsubishi system is really nice we absolutely Love it! and we Love GP heating as well there were outstanding!

Our AC unit quit working on a Saturday @ 5:30pm while it was 104* outside. We panicked and called a local company from the yellow pages. A very nice lady answered and was able to say that someone would be able to come out to our home that evening. She said that it would be another hour and a half and that they'd have to charge the "emergency" fee of 125$ (I think), I really didn't care - just fix it!! Geri came as promised and on time. He was very friendly and assured us quickly that our unit was going to running within minutes. What a relief! Showed us the replaced parts he was gone within a half hour. Order was restored to the home!!

All new duct work was installed. hooked up, tested and inspected and seems to work fine. The first A/C turn on didn't function but Jerry came out and made a small adjustment promptly to engage the system properly. His install took longer than expected due to complexity of the ductwork, but he seemed to take the issue in stride and completed the job without issue. He also installed a gas line to the kitchen for a future gas stove while he was under the house. Would definitely use Jerry at other properties for service or new installations. Sheri is easy to communicate with thru email and is very helpful.

He found the problem quickly, had the part on the truck and replaced it.

The owners were very pleasant and efficient to work with and very knowledgeable. Jerry was on time and quickly installed the new unit when he said he would. He also took the old unit away and left the work area neat.

This company set up a time and date to come over to perform an estimate for me and they never showed up, they never called or emailed me to apologize, explain or reschedule the appointment. I would not use them because if this is what their work ethic is, it is totally unacceptable. I would be afraid that they would treat the job like they did this appointment. Very disappointing!

Heat pump failed. They evaluated the problem and ordered a new circuit board. Installed the card the following day. We are warm again! Excellent service.

Very Happy, Honest and fair. We used both Angie's List and the good feeling we got talking with them before we made an appointment to choose their service. We are glad we did, as Angie's List tipped us in their direction. If you want honest fair service, give them a call. It is so hard these days to find an honest person who won't try to sell you on things you don't need, and if that is what you want then give them a call. The work is quality and the people are nice!

It's been over a week now with chilly night time temps, and all is well. By getting a second opinion, and thru Angie's list, discovering Grants Pass Heating and Air Conditioning, we saved at least the $700 for the variable speed electric motor his Merlin Oregon competitor tried to f**** off on us, plus other incidentals and "needed" components and labor costs. Am I pleased...YOU BET! I highly recommend Jerry, and a kudo to his wife, Sheri, both owners of this firm, for her understanding and refusal to "bad mouth" the competition! Now that's class... As a 73 year old, all too quickly entering the dotage part of my life, I mistakenly entered the price for his services in the date section of my check and the day's date in the dollar amount box. Later, when realizing my error, I phoned Sheri offering a corrected, replacement check. She said not to worry, let's see if the erroneous check clears. Well it did. Now that's the way to treat neighbors. Thanks Sheri... If you live in Grants Pass or environs, do yourself a favor and support good, solid, reputable folks like this for your needs. And NO!!!! I'm not related, nor have I ever met these good folks in any context but the above.

They were competitive and responsive. We paid a reasonable deposit to order the equipment and two weeks later the install date was scheduled. The installation went smoothly and the result was professional. In addition, Jerry provided the information and documentation to apply for an energy credit from the Oregon Energy Trust. We highly recommend them.

The installation of this new part required that the whole system be purged of all the freon,approx. $200 worth I believe, and Jerry had to foot the bill for that the second time the part was installed which was the right thing to do although I'm not so sure every technician would have done it at least without some complaints. Jerry however just took it in stride. Also there was about 3 hours of labor that had to be repeated not to mention the long trip out to our place up the steep bumpy driveway. We were charged what was quoted and thats it. I was very pleased with this small company owned and operated by Jerry and his wife Sherry. Blair Stevenson

The technician went to check the basement, he found some condensation. He couldn't figure out how the home passed inspection. He told me what I needed to do to get it fixed. I contacted an electrician. He came out and put a couple of plugs in and then the air conditioner guy came out and hooked up the necessary equipment which took care of the condensation. He was friendly and the price was reasonable. He was very punctual and showed up before the appointment time.

It?s a small operation. Jerry is the owner of the company and his wife is the secretary. They came out and did the job very professionally. They fixed the problem fast. They charged less which even included the parts and most of the people wanted to just come out and look at it. They have been in business for a long time. They came out the same day I called them. The owner showed up a little bit early and he was very professional. I would definitely use their services in the future too.
