Description of Work: Durbin Concrete LLC widened our very narrow driveway and extended the landing. They also poured a very needed staircase along the side of the driveway with a non slip surface. This company also cleaned our entire cement which blended it to all look very uniform with the existing driveway. This crew was excellent and very professional.

+ -1 moreThe front steps were torn out on July 3, 2014. As of Oct. 22, they have worked no more than 10 days total, and all they have done is remove the pond wall, removed the front steps, poured footings and two walls and spread sand. The job was supposed to take one month to complete, but in almost 4 months, I still have no usable front entrance (new steps and walkways have not yet been poured). It is now rainy season, and the front of my house is a complete wreck, with no end in sight! The pace of work has been extraordinarily slow. The last day they were here to work on the project was Sept. 16, and it is now Oct. 22. I had to reattach the drainage pipe to the downspout myself two days ago since heavy rain had been coming out of the downspout right next to the wall of the house. I have not been able to have any guests come to the house in several months and cannot make any plans for hosting friends over the upcoming holidays. The worst part has been his lack of responsiveness. For the first month or so, he was pretty responsive, but that has not been the case in the last couple of months. I have asked for an estimate of when the job will be completed but have received no time frame from him. After hearing nothing from him this week in response to phone messages and emails, I am now looking to hire another contractor to complete the work.
Description of Work: The job was to include removing stone wall associated with former waterfall pond, replacing front steps and walkways with stamped concrete. Work done includes: removed pond wall, removed front steps, poured support walls, spread sand.

+ 0 moreMarcus only knows how to do things one way, and that is the right way! He is a master of concrete, and loves his work. He was diligent in both the preparation steps and the finished product. We have a mixed color brick home, and he mixed the colors for the stamped concrete beautifully . Everyone who sees our home asks us who did the concrete, and we have to tell them he has gone to Oregon! Seattle's loss is Grant's Pass gain! You will not be disappointed in choosing Marcus for your next job.
Description of Work: A full front yard project, including all the concrete work:: 50 ft of new city sidewalk, widening of driveway with new retaining walls, new steps, porch, and sidewalks to house, and all stamped stained, and sealed. Other, unseen work included new sewer and water lines run, and downspout drains routed to sewers . This was in city of Seattle-prior to Durbin locating to OR.
