Description of Work: Jeremy and his team have been amazing to work with! My spouse and I feel very lucky to have found such a hardworking, professional, who clearly cares about executing his work well and ensuring that the final product is not only of high quality but accurately reflects our design, esthetics and preferences as home owners. Jeremy's honesty, good communication, attention to both detail and the overall goals of our project was apparent. Our job was complicated and involved demolition, replacement, and finishing the work, which was started by another contractor whom we fired. | |When we met with Jeremy and Titan Concrete to get a bid we had three freshly poured and failing window wells that needed to be replaced, a wavy irregular foundation wall on two side of our house, muddy backfill around two sides of our new foundation and entire back yard, incomplete sewer line work that had been buried, and problematic grading issues, as well as several other concrete components that needed forms to be torn out,re-built and poured (back yard bench/seating area, basement platform for washer and dryer, stem walls along a side of our house, and stairwell walls to our basement. After having had such a nightmare experience with the prior contractor we were very cautious and made sure to consult multiple (5) contractors, primarily concrete contractors to get bids on our project. Our place was such a mess that several contractors did not even want to take the project on. After careful consideration we decided to go with Jeremy and Titan Concrete, due to his years in the industry and experience fixing up botched projects like our own. | |The first day with Jeremy and his team on our job, we felt immediately reassured as we watched him and his workers tidying up the job site, laying down straw and gravel and taking appropriate precautions to protect our house and keep silt out of the rain gutters. This kind of professionalism and care was consistent through out the duration of the project. Jeremy made sure to communicate daily his progress, trajectory for the next day, and check in with us to make sure we were satisfied with all aspects of the work being done. Jeremy did a great job of providing us with as many options as possible while keeping us on budget. He was very organized and managed his team well. It was apparent that he had good working relationships with his employees and subs. Juan, who has been working with Jeremy for over 10 year, was very knowledgeable and contributed greatly to effective problem shooting as well as making sure that the finished concrete looked perfect. Andy the excavator that Jeremy subs was also exceptional, very skilled, efficient and happy to give us advice on other projects we had going on with our home. Jeremy was able to get our project on the schedule with the concrete and pump trucks every day that we were ready to pour. | |Like I have already mentioned - the concrete work that Jeremy did for us came out very well. Even when making our window wells against the very irregular surface of our undulating foundation wall (poured by prior contractor that we fired) the concrete came out level, plumb and square and the finished surfaces were clean. | |My only regret was that we didn't find Jeremy and Titan concrete in the first place! Anyways, I guess this experience really puts me in a great position to comment on Jeremy's skill and ability to take on a challenging project, and provide excellent quality concrete work. | | |
