I had four vintage feet for a claw foot tub that I had stripped of paint and needed plated. Oregon Plating told me it would be two weeks; they had it done in only one. They were helpful and knowledgable and were able to answer all my questions. The feet were quite pitted due to age, and the nickel did not stick deep in some of the crevices but they still look good.
Description of Work: I had four claw feet for a tub nickeled.

Oregon Plating did a fantastic job, I would recommend anyone thinking of replacing their plumbing with new finishes to first consider re-plating. Environmentally I have saved throwing out my old fixture into the landfill by instead recycling it into a brand-new finish, and I have a better quality fixture now than if I had bought a new one, as the original fixture was better made than what is now available. They did an outstanding job on the finish, it is better than new, and the job was completed a week early!
Description of Work: I needed to have my existing tub spout re-plated with a newer, updated finish (from brass to chrome). I had researched the cost of replacing my existing plumbing with an all brand-new chrome fixture ($700 - 1,200) versus the cost of re-plating my existing fixture and having it reinstalled. Oregon Plating bid the cost of re-plating the fixture at $125.00 plus environmental fees of $2.50, which brought the total cost of my job with re-plating and install to $307.50 (including plumbing).
