CAL SPAS

Their business is competitive. Cal Spas has a good and really nice display area for all these tubs. They've got what all that you need. I ran into a problem with them though. The way they wanna bring a hot tub out, they kinda have you get your guys, they might have a couple of guys but then they end up with one guy, and these tubs are big. It was lucky that I had some guys working on my property here to give me a hand. So their delivery is not good. Their salesman was a nice guy but he didn't give us the color that we wanted. He's great but he screwed up. He made the mistake so I went back and started to talk to him about it. I got the owner or the manager and he said that I had signed the contract. He didn't just say that this is what happens, the salesman didn't see it, or he didn't realize it. He's got an attitude that when you sign the paper, you sign the paper. That just pissed me off. If anybody wants a nice hot tub, this is the place to get it. Five stars, great hot tub. But make sure that you get what you ordered and be ready to deal with some problems to get it to your house. I've had problem with the motors and their service guy was really great. But I sit in the tub almost every night and I love it. It has 2 high force motors and it's just rocking. They're the best tubs I've seen.

Definitely a little frustrating. We were told it would take three weeks to get a new cover. After three weeks I called and was told in a rather condescending tone that if they hadn't called me yet, then it's not in. After another week, I called again and was told that it wasn't in, but it should be and to call again on Monday so that they can call the distributor. On Monday we verified the color and and supposedly it was on it's way. After another week I called back and it was finally delivered to the store. The cover is absolutely fine so far, my complaint is the service. I realize things can get delayed, but don't get an attitude if I call to check on something that should have already arrived.

Never offered any thing off for the hassles and the 1 hour dive each way I had to make to go there each time. All in all I was very disappointed. I have been dealing with this company for over 12 years now and have never had a problem before. I don't think that I will use them again for a cover, just service.

Jeff in the Cal Spas (Beaverton) sales room was great; no pressure, just facts. We were armed with information IN WRITING when we left to look at other brands. Jeff was 100% correct in what he'd told us. We purchased a top of the line model from them after seeing they were best for us. It took five weeks to arrive, but installation went great; we had some tight spots to squeeze through. We used their recommended electrician to prepare for the install, and were glad we did. He found incorrectly installed wire previously. After installation, we learned one small feature was missing from our tub. Cal Spas manufacturers took full responsibility for the error. They offered complete replacement, or refund of option. We opted a double $$ credit for chemicals at the store. Very fair. We are quite pleased with the service. The electrician was spendy but worth every penny to ensure all is safe and correct.

WHEN DELIVERED IT WAS SLIGHTLY DAMAGED, AND WE WERE TOLD IT WOULD BE REPAIRED QUICKLY. THIS WAS OVER 3 MONTHS AGO AND STILL NOT FIXED AND STILL GETTING ONLY EXCUSES.

THEY HANDLE ALL PROBLEMS BY THEMSELVES WITHOUT MUCH INPUT FROM MYSELF. THERE NOT QUITE PERSONABLE, BUT THEY DO THEIR JOB WELL AND I DON'T HAVE TO DIRECT THEM.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS THEY CAN ANSWER THEM. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN. IT WAS REASONABLY PRICED. IT IS LOCATED CLOSE TO MY HOUSE. THEY ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PLEASANT.

WE HAVE HAD A LOT OF TROUBLE WITH OUR HOT TUB, BUT THE EMPLOYEES AT CAL SPAS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN HELPFUL, COURTEOUS AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEY SERVICE OUR HOT TUB, HERE IN LONGVIEW, FROM PORTLAND.
