Overall, relatively satisfied with the work. Robin was the lowest estimate we got, & you do get what you pay for. He works out of his truck. Biggest problem was scheduling. We initially contacted Robin in March & the (simple) job was not complete until September. We constantly had to call & track him down to schedule (or reschedule) the work. This was ok since we were fairly flexible & not pressed for time. More reliability would have been nice. When he did show up he was on time & worked hard. There is some sloppy work, like messy concrete patching at the vent & brush strokes on the trim. He did not fill any finish nail holes. He promised to come back & fill in two trim pieces at the door but a few weeks later we have yet to hear from him. Robin did have a great personality & was helpful to us in making additional suggestions on future projects. He even took us out to breakfast one Saturday. OK if you have handyman-type projects & are willing to give a little slack.
Description of Work: We hired Robin to replace 5 windows in our basement & a side door & install a dryer vent. The basement windows were rotted & leaking, and Robin replaced them with new vinyl sliders from Weathervane. We knew we wanted vinyl but he recommended the company. He also replaced the rotting frame with new PT & installed & painted new wood trim on the exterior. They appear to be properly caulked & sealed & so far we have had no more leaks. He replaced our old steel door with a new fiberglass one from ThermaTru. He installed a new threshold & new interior & exterior wood trim, painted it. We bought the lock hardware ourselves & Robin installed it. For the dryer, we changed the location which required cutting a new hole for the vent. Even though Robin is not a licensed electrician he was willing to run new conduit for us. So far the dryer works great. He also caulked along the joint between our driveway and foundation wall to further prevent leaks.

It went terrible. Robin is difficult to work with. I felt bullied and he made me cry. He would not listen to what I wanted. He started the job using another contractor for the cabinet refacing. It ended up that the other contractor finished the job for the refacing. Robin worked for about an hour removing some trim. Robin's wife, who has her own company, painted the inside of the cabinets for a cost of $800!!! We ended the contract but not until after I paid him hundreds of dollars for work he did not do. I now have an action against him with the Oregon Contractor's Board.
Description of Work: Was to do remodel of kitchen to include cabinet refacing, new doors and all new woodwork around doors and windows.
