Cory was exremely helpful during the whole process. After looking at the job, he suggested that I request permission to remove my two street trees which were causing the sidewalks to rise. He patiently waited while I got a tree removal permit from the City of Forest Grove, then hired a company to remove the trees. Cory scheduled the job to coincide with possibly the only 2 dry days in a row that happened this month and then performed the job as expected. The first day was complicated as the tree service came back that day to grind the stumps (they were supposed to have done that the week before). The two companies had a bit of a conflict because they were both working in the same area. Cory had to "re-grade" an area that he had already done because the tree guys arrived and messed it up while he had left the site for 45 minutes. Both companies blamed the other company for cracking a drain pipe going from my gutters to the street. I don't know who was truely at fault, but Cory went ahead and replaced the broken pipe. He also added two 3" pipes under the sidewalk so I could add a sprinkler system zone over in the street tree section. He did not charge me extra for these pipes, nor for the drain pipe he replaced. He remembered to do the 3" pipes even though I only asked him to do them once several weeks before the job was done.
Description of Work: Excavated 40' of sidewalk that was rising due to tree roots. Reformed and poured new sidewalk squares.

This project was completed on time and on budget. Corey and Carlos arrived to perform the job on the date promised and completed their work in quoted amount of time. From the very first contact to get an estimate Corey was a superb communicator and asked lots of questions to gather details and arrive at a project estimate. When the time came to do the job he arrived on the date and time agreed upon and delivered superb quality work. Corey not only helped for the job, he agreed to but while excavating discovered a blocked rain drain pipe and unplugged it and extended it beyonfd the play area so avoid a muddy mess when the rains return to Oregon. Thanks Corey and Carlos for your exceptional work ethic and workmanship.
Description of Work: The project consisted of creating an area to setup a play structure for my kids. A 36' X 25' area on my land was leveled and then cedar wood chips were placed on the leveled area.

From the moment I called Corey, he answered his own phone immediately. I told him what we needed and the problems we have being rural and contractors not wanting to come this far out. Fortunately Corey lives in our neighbor hood. He made an appt to come and look at the job which he kept in contact about. He came and was honest about what it would entail and the most it would cost and the least. He even tried to come a few days early as he had a cancellation, however we were not able to be home that day so he came when he had previously scheduled. He brought two helpers and spent almost 4 hours on the jackhammer. It was a nasty job for sure but he and his help cleaned up every piece of broken concrete and placed plywood against the door and tarps over the windows for protection. My husband was able to dispose of the concrete chunks and rocks with the tractor and scoop and so it went very smoothly. I would recommend Cory any time. He was very respectful of the rest of the property.
Description of Work: We had a concrete front porch/steps. We wanted them removed to build a deck. It was a 5x5 concrete slab with two steps down to the sidewalk. It was crumbling and old and we knew it would be a nasty job.

Cory was instrumental in creating a solution to provide access from the road to the parking area. The project came in under budget. Cory was prompt and even moved a few plants for me in the process. He was great to work with.
Description of Work: Converted field to level parking area with access from road.

Cory worked very hard, dealt with the city for us, and came up with an easy, inexpensive solution to our drainage issue. He hand dug a good portion of the trench to avoid disturbing plants, and added the drains from the old part of the house in to the new drain. They even replaced the sod over the hole for the pipe to the street.
Description of Work: Installed rain drains for new construction (addition) on 100 year old house. Difficult site, because of grade.
