Patrick came out today and spent 2.5 hours looking at the electrical in our new home. The sub-panel wasn't labeled correctly and we had some outlet issues (identified from the home inspection at time of sale). He did a great job making sure everything was done right, if not he fixed it. He replaced some GFCI outlets that were bad and some that were wired wrong. Overall great experience. On time and worth every penny. In fact, I've asked for a quote on installing a garbage disposal - now that they know how my wiring is laid out.

The service was good. They were good, they were on time and everything was great. My interaction with them was good.

Two guys came out for a day, they did a fine job, and I was very pleased. I got them off of Angie's List. The experience went just fine. They were friendly and competent. They did a good job across the board. I got a couple of estimates, and their price was lower than others.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out fine. They were on time, they just did a good job, and they were efficient. They were very nice, no problems, and they were pretty responsive when I emailed or texted them. I paid $140. It took a little bit more time and then I asked them to complete the work.

It was just one guy who came, he was there exactly on time, and he just went about his business. He was a very nice guy, he was very efficient, and got everything done. Electric service is so expensive.

Excellent. When they finished their allotted time, I had forgotten 2 very important tasks, but they reminded me thankfully! I was more than willing to pay them regular hourly fee as they had to reschedule other appointments in order to accommodate my request. This meant a lot to me as their prices were so good and I did not want to postphone the 2 tasks as they were so critical to be done that day and that day only.

Jay Bentley did a great job for us. Having used other electricians previously, we felt he was head and shoulders above!

It went very well. Was replaced the same day Jay came to look it over. Jay took care of everything with permits etc. Jay kept in contact to let us know when the inspection would be. Also when the electric co would be out to cut power. All went very well and the total price was very acceptable.

We played phone tag for several weeks before we were able to schedule a date, but that was not a major issue. Jay showed up promptly with his partner on the date and time scheduled. Completed the work in a little over an hour. Very professional. Explained everything he was doing.

I had new light fixtures put in to existing drops, some wiring cleaned up and a dryer socket switched out. All great work and done fast and efficiently. Will definitely be using Jay again.

We have an office that is enclosed by a set of French Doors; unfortunately, the open position of the French Doors made it difficult to access the light switch when entering the room. Bentley Electric installed a new 3-way switch outside of the room and replaced the existing switch in the room so that the lights could be turned on or off from either switch. The quality of their work was top notch with no collateral damage to the walls from the install; the installation of the new switch truly looks original to the house and I am very happy with the work provided by Bentley Electric.

House Wiring: Installed wall switch in hallway, outlet in attic which allowed fan usage during summer temperatures. |POSITIVES: they arrived on time, completed wiring without any issues and within the specified two hours, all the while being very professional. |NEGATIVES: none.

Purchased deal on 11/24, answered email on 11/27 with my phone number, waited for call, no call. One week later, called Bentley, they said they has so many responses to Angie's List ad they were swamped and wanted to schedule service for 07:30 time frame, but no date, would call back to schedule date. Waited a week and no call, sent email to Angie's List for refund and hired another contractor.

I only had certain dates that worked for taking advantage of this deal and the service provider was unavailable during those dates. They were responsive in email so no complaints. Better luck next time!

Jay was on target and on time, job came in on time and very near estimate despite some surprises you run into with an older home.

We purchased a big deal for the service, and it was okay. It cost me more than the original amount. He had another person with him who seemed to be in training, and he said it was the price that I paid was for 2 hours, or one hour because they were two. They were there less than 2 hours, but I had to pay for the other person.

Both Jay and the other electrician with him were very courteous, conscientious and professional. They made no mess and took away the old parts for recycling. Arrived on time and there was plenty of correspondence both by phone and email prior to the scheduled date. There were no surprises. I liked both of the men and I think they did a great job. I would use them again.

I had a small job enough for just one guy the deal is deceiving two guys came so one just stood around while one did the job so I got one hour of work plus they talked to another repair man I had over at the same time you don't visit on my dollar when I asked about doing another thing they told me they would charge me for another hour at 160 an hour I will not use them again it is a rip off to send and charge for two guys when they job only required on person

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it went real well. They were prompt, really nice and very knowledgeable. There was nothing really bad. They were very quick and communicated very well. They were a little late coming to my house, but they had called me to let me know they were going to be late and the reason for it. I have nothing but praise for them. They were really good and professional.

Jay Bentley and his assistant installed two ceiling fans. Both were in locations that had previously had ceiling fans so no additional bracing was needed. One fan was an older model that we had in storage for several years and needed a light added. The second fan with a light was installed in a vaulted ceiling and had a wall mounted control that needed to be installed. Jay and his assistant were very pleasant, efficient and professional.

They showed up on time to the minute! They worked very quickly, fixed the problems and were done early. I would have had a longer list had I known, but I have never seen such a quick, efficient crew for electrical! Regardless, the $99 deal was great, and I will have him back in the future when we need some more electrical work done. Nice to see such an ethical, hardworking company! Highly recommend.

They installed a new outlet cover, repaired some wiring on the pump timer for our pond, relabeled our electric panels, and determined the use of 2 switches in our family room that have remained a mystery to us for 16 years! All went well!
