The crew did an excellent job in all ways. This is the second time I've used Virtue and I can highly recommend their service. Because of upcoming rain and snow they came a few days earlier than expected, which was great -- and they left the yard and walkways spotless after doing the gutters and roof.

My roof looks great now. John and his crew came out to our house as scheduled, even though it was 90 degree scorching hot that day. They did a thorough job of cleaning our roof and gutter. It looks fantastic now. Communication was always prompt. We even got an email reply at 9PM right after I sent them a message. I'm not saying that you should expect that all the time, but it just seems like that really care about the work and tries hard.

In September 2015, we moved into our new home. After inspecting the roof on our home I determined that we were going to need to have the moss build up removed from our roof. Being new to the area and not being familiar with having moss build up on a roof I checked with some of my neighbors. One of my neighbors who is a real estate broker stated that there office had been using Virtue Professional Maintenance Services on homes of their clients. I decided to give them a call. It is one of the best calls I ever made. I was very impressed from day one with the way the Virtue Professional Maintenance Team approached the job to remove the Moss build up from our roof. From the first day we received our bid from Virtue to the day the job was completed it became very evident to me that John and his team were wanting to do the best job possible. After watching other roof maintenance companies clean our neighbors roofs I felt I had made the right decision to hire Virtue. Other roofing companies would use rakes or spraying equipment to clean my neighbors roofs. Virtue cleaned our roof by hand using brushes to clean the entire roof. As I have learned this is the best way to clean a roof as it will not cause additional wear on the roof. After cleaning the entire roof with brushes Virtue sprayed the entire roof with a plant friendly cleaner that prevents moss from growing.for minimum of a year. In Oregon this is saying a lot as we receive a lot of rain. Now that our roof is cleaned I will continue to use Virtue in years to come to do preventative maintenance on our roof. I highly recommend giving Virtue a call. From their office personnel to the people who will be doing the work you will be pleased. And by the way. They completely cleaned the grounds around the house after finishing the roof. That says a lot.

I have used Virtue before several times and they continue to do an excellent job. They are neat and tidy, professional, they do what you want, and the "operations" people in the office are absolutely wonderful with scheduling, billing, and payments. And, of course, rescheduling their next visit. It is wonderful to establish a business relationship with a business that can do so many different maintenance jobs in one visit rather than having to contact 3 or 4 different businesses. Everything went great from quoting, service, to payment. They showed up first thing in the morning and spent 2.5 hours doing the work. The moss is gone, treatment powder in place, and the gutters were clean. Nothing but positive things to say.

They arrived as scheduled and completed the job. During the course of the cleaning he accidentally broke the globe around an outside light above my garage door. He came right to me and apologized saying he would pay for the replacement and would install it as soon as I got the globe, which he did. I have used this company several times and find them to be honest and efficient. I highly recommend them.

I bought a "Daily Deal" for removal of moss from my roof for $139. There was a scheduling mix-up that was due to a mix-up with Angies' list procedures and John showed up and treated the moss without ever talking to me. I later called Lisa to schedule the moss removal and to my surprise she said it had already been done. I told her I looked out one of my upstairs windows and there was still moss. A couple days later John and Lisa ( a family business) met me at my house and Lisa offered me a $70 check for the confusion. I refused to accept it and said I just wanted the moss on my roof killed. John went back up on the roof and spread some more moss killer. After 3 weeks, I checked the moss on my roof and most, but not all, was dead. (My roof had a heavy moss buildup). I spoke with Lisa and she sent John out for a third time yesterday. Both John and Lisa were a pleasure to deal with but Lisa is a very friendly and extremely customer service oriented owner. I have come to like and respect her very much. )This woman is smart, dedicated and works hard), I WOULD HEARTILY ENDORSE HIRING THEM AS THEY WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO MAKE IT RIGHT. YOU CANNOT GO WRONG HIRING VIRTUE AS THEY WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO MAKE THE CUSTOMER SATISFIED. I GRADE THEM AN AAA VENDOR!!!!1

This is the second time I have used this company. Previously, I took advantage of their special on moss treatment of roof. Both times, everything went very well. This company is exactly what I look for in a service provider. They responded to request in a timely manner. All contact with all staff was friendly, courteous, and prompt. They arrived as scheduled, did a great job, and cleaned up nicely. I definitely recommend this company and will use them again.

John and Jake arrived promptly. They were polite, efficient, and did a good job. Windows were spotless. My tall two story house has lots of windows and roof area. Did a good job removing moss from roof, especially garage which was heavily covered. They were clean and removed all debris. Lisa in the office checked in on the service and payment was processed as communicated.

I purchased a moss treatment deal. John and Jake arrived about an hour early for the 10 am appointment, so I didn’t realize they had started until I looked out the window to see they were leaving. When I noticed that only moss treatment had been applied I went out to inquire because I had thought removal was a part of the deal as well. They were very kind and accommodating and agreed to remove the moss for what was a much smaller than normal fee. I went back and found the deal details in my email and it did indeed say moss treatment only and moss may be removed for an additional fee. I am embarrassed to admit that It turned out I was “that” customer(!) but they were very professional and didn't make me feel like an idiot. I will definitely recommend them and will for sure use them for moss treatment on a yearly basis from now on. Thank you for the great customer service!

The best things about Lisa and John at Virtue Roof is their amazingly fast responsiveness, and their dedication to making sure the customer is satisfied! The price is right as well. I found them on Angie's List and signed on for a moss removal. John came out (in the middle of a storm) to do the removal on Dec 14th. It was so dark and wet, that we really did not have a chance to look at it until the day after Christmas. There still seemed to be a lot of green on the roof so we contacted Virtue on the Saturday night after Christmas, sending photos of what we had observed. We received a lightning reply within hours and John came out on Monday the 28th to see what was what. It had snowed that morning, so he wasn't able to do anything at 9am, however, he came back out that same day in the afternoon and spent another 1.5 hours removing more green and applying a complimentary moss removal treatment. His explanation of what he thought was going on with the moss on our roof made sense. The moss was so deep it was literally growing out of the shingles - if he had scraped it all off, he would have run the risk of damaging our shingles on our 4 year old roof, so a treatment was really the only way to effectively eliminate the moss without damage to the roof. We have plans to call John and Lisa again this spring to check things out and sign on for an ongoing treatment plan, as we live with lots of fir trees and shade, so moss will be an ongoing problem. If you prefer to work directly with the person who will actually be doing the work for you, this company is the way to go. I had considered paying the hefty price to go with a company with larger name recognition, but interaction with them just felt a little too slick for me. Virtue Roof was the best fit for us and we recommend them highly.

I can't rave enough about this company. They had great contact, arrived on time, were extremely professional and did a great job cleaning all of the moss off my roof with scrubbers and then cleaning up all of the debris that came off the roof. Friendly, professional, wonderful!

They got right back to me after first phone call. Their availability was good, and arrived right on time. They explained in detail what they were going to do, and provided a thorough bid.
