About us

I am an owner /operator business. I may have an employee with me if the job requires it. No subs. Cost is determined by the job. carpet cleaning involves the following: I use furniture movers so you don't have the hassle of moving them off the carpet and then replacing. I move sofa's, chairs, love seats, coffee tables, end tables etc....furniture that usually is not moved: entertainment centers, pianos, china hutches, book cases. I pre-spray the carpet with a solution that loosens the dirt and grime - I then using a carpet rake rake the carpet to get the solution worked into the carpet. Then I inspect the carpet for any problem spots that may need some extra care. using a heated extraction carpet cleaning machine with detergent, I then clean the carpet. I use all green products to clean with and they clean excellent. I put the furniture back to their original location. At this time job is complete. When I house clean I like to do a very thorough job the first time. The home gets cleaned ceiling to floor. I clean all woodwork around doors and windows, ceiling fan blades, light fixtures, base boards,doors, shelving, bookcases, anything that has a shelf ledge or crease I want the dirt and dust out. bathrooms: showers/tubs/ jacuzzi tubs all scrubbed, toilets, sinks, counters, cabinet doors, light fixtures, mirrors, walls, floors cleaned as needed. Kitchen: cabinets, counters, light fixtures, oven and stove top, refrigerator surface, microwave inside/out, walls, and floor. After the initial cleaning we can set up a schedule to maintain the home. This greatly depends on the residents of the home as to how often. Kids,dogs,cats,birds,Adults etc... I also clean, seal, and polish man made tile and stone.

Description of Work: Rose City Cleaning have provided their services for 10 years. If you let someone in your home you want to know that they are honest and will treat your home as their own. The owners know their business and provide a wealth of expertise on home care. If anything seems unusual (plumbing, electrical, security etc.) they let me know.

Mike came for an interview in June,2012 and I was impressed and pleased with the price he quoted. We walked through the house and he explained exactly what he would do. I have him come every other week and couldn't be happier.
Description of Work: Mike cleans the house thoroughly from top to bottom. He comes on a regular basis every other week. He charges $30 an hour. He adjusts for half hour so the price usually is $75. I have many pictures and he dusts them every visit. He vacuums the entire house and scrubs the wooden floor area. He brings all his own cleaning supplies so one less chore for me. He cleans both bathrooms which is what I wanted originally. He is good natured and easy to have around the house. He always calls and tells me what time he will be coming so I don't have to sit and wait.

Continuing service. We were not satisfied with our first cleaning service. A family member knew Mike through a business organization they both attended and so we decided to try hiis service. He started cleaning for us over a year ago and we intend to continue with him. He is a pleasant person to have in your home, completely honest and does his work well.
Description of Work: Continuing service. House cleaning every two weeks. Appx 3200 sq. Ft.house. Mike cleans about 2500 sq.ft which includes bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, family room and three bedrooms. Cleans both wood floors and carpet plus tile in the bathrooms. His overall cleaning is very complete and he is always ready to do extra if requested.

After our last contracted cleaners ended up breaking something every visit, and needing to be supervised to assure tasks were completed, it is a pleasure to have a realiable provider like Mike taking care of our home. I have no worries about not being at home to make sure things are done, and done right. It is great to come home on our claning days to a home that is clean without it smelling like a chemical plant.

Mike and one assistant were on time and very courteous. Performed work in a timely manner. I thought price was only reasonable considering we had all furniture moved prior to their arrival. We also had to wait 3/4 hours for it to dry and then vacuum again ourselves.
Description of Work: Cleaned dining room, family room, and hallway carpet. Removed food/drink stains. No furniture movement was necessary.

THE YOUNG MEN WERE PLEASANT, PUNCTUAL, AND COURTEOUS. THEIR WORK WAS EXTREMELY SHODDY, AND INCOMPLETE. THEY SHAMPOO, AND TREATED THE CARPETS SATISFACTORILY. THEY SENT OUT THE MINI BLINDS, AND REINSTALLED THEM MORE OR LESS SATISFACTORILY. SOME LIGHT FIXTURES, CLOSET SHELVES, RODS ETC. STILL HAD BROWN NICOTINE STAINS ON THEM. MUCH OF THE MICROWAVE WAS GREASY. THE COLD AIR VENT WAS CLEANED ONLY BECAUSE I TOOK IT DOWN, AND STARTED TO CLEAN IT MYSELF WHILE THEY WERE HERE. I ALSO TOOK DOWN SEVERAL LIGHT FIXTURE BOWLS, AND CLEANED THEM MYSELF. THE PRICE WOULD HAVE BEEN FAIR IF THEY HAD DONE WHAT THEY CONTRACTED TO DO. AS IT TURNED OUT, THEY CHARGED FAR TOO MUCH.
Description of Work: BECAUSE THIS SMALL HOUSE (ONLY 1300 SQ, FT,) HAD ONCE BEEN A SMOKER'S HOME, THE JOB WAS TO DETAIL CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT HAD NOT BEEN PAINTED. THE WOODWORK, LIGHT FIXTURES, CUPBOARDS, BLINDS, ETC. STOVE, AND REFRIGERATOR WERE NEW, ALL WALLS, AND CEILINGS HAD BEEN FRESHLY PAINTED, SO THEY DIDN'T NEED TO CLEAN THOSE. THEY CLEANED THE WINDOWS INSIDE SATISFACTORILY.
