+ -1 moreWe purchased the sofa and loveseat from the previous owner of this home. He had dogs and they had the run of the furniture. We did not realize how dirty it was when we purchased it. There was deep dirt on the cushions and almost every exposed section of the furniture. Vouchell's used a steamer and spot cleaning throughout, and though there are a couple of stains that will never come out, they did an outstanding job. We were close to dumping the furniture, but now expect to get many more years out of it. The carpeting was also stained in a number of places, but when they were finished, there was no evidence of stains, and the carpeting looked like new.
Description of Work: Cleaned carpet in dining room, and hallway. They also cleaned our sofa and loveseat.

+ -1 moreI was very pleased with the outcome of watching a carpet that was totally soiled and stained come back to look almost new again, More importantly it looked clean because it was clean and the whole house smelled better. There were a few trouble spots that showed up after complete drying, but the Vouchells had warned me about that. A scrub brush and a topical cleaner fixed those problems. I am very pleased with the results, happy to pay the price they asked, and would recommend Vouchell's Carpet Cleaning to anyone, especially if you think your carpet could be a lost cause.
Description of Work: I was referred to Vouchell's Carpet Cleaning by a home inspector who had been referred to the Vouchells for a job by a real estate agent the Vouchells had rescued a bad carpet for. I have a property in Eugene Or. that had been rented out for a year and the tenants had totally soiled the carpets in all four bedrooms, family room, living room, dinning room and hall ways. There were stains and much ground in wear. The home inspector said that if there was anybody who could get out the stains and hopefully save the carpet it would be Kathy Vouchell and her husband Doug. Fortunately the inspector had an old phone number that worked and I was able to get in touch with the Vouchell's. I spoke with Kathy and she explained over the phone that they were Master Carpet cleaners and worked on many commercial properties maintaining the appearance of carpets in high level corporate buildings but that they also did homes. I explained my situation of getting my home ready to sell and not being able to invest in new carpeting through out the home. I sent them photos of the carpeting in each room along with two levels of carpeted steps. They said that they would appraise the job when they came to do the job in order to save on costs. They said that by the photos they could see that there were issues that we would have to discuss. They quoted me a price estimate for the job that was higher than I had ever paid for carpet cleaning but I was willing to take a chance if they could restore the carpets. They showed up at the time they had agreed to. I met them and they came in a did a walk through the house and determined that there may be some trouble spots but for the most part they felt they could turn it around. I could see that the equipment they were using was different than any I had seen before with other carpet cleaning companies. It had an industrial look to it. I left the house to buy materials for other projects that were being done on the house and had them call me when they were finished. After a couple of hours I got a call that they were near finishing so I returned home. I was totally shocked when I returned home to find a carpet that looked almost new again. I was thrilled. They explained that there was a chance based on the condition of the pads and how much dirt they were holding that some of the areas would suffer some bleed and some stains may show through again if there was a lot of foot traffic while things were drying. It was one of the best carpet cleaning jobs I have ever purchased. I was very happy to spend the extra money to get these results.
