Gerardo works extremely efficiently and quickly. I was amazed at the amount of work he did in a day. HE was very good at communicating with me. Very professional wrote a comprehensive contract so everyone's expectations could be met. Also he is likeable as a person and easy to talk to.He did everything he said he would and some was above and beyond what I expected. I was so pleased that I fired my maintenance company and hired Geraldo's company to replace them. He also gave me a maintenance contract ans is doing what he included in it.

I can't say enough great things about Terrazas Landscaping. It was $120 for 4 hours of work. Not only did he come out that night, Sunday, to see the yard and talk to us, but he was able to do the work on Wednesday. The clean up on our yard looks way better than I could have ever expected and he did a bunch of extra work that I hadn't even planned on. He weeded all the beds and hauled away a huge pile of debris and tree branches we had stacked up. I love the work so much that I got a quote from him to maintain the yard on a weekly basis. I would absolutely hire him again. Our backyard is full of two dozen trees and shrubs and he cleaned up all of the winter debris and leaves, trimmed all of the hedges and shrubs, edged, weed whacked, and cleaned up. In addition, he weeded all of the front and side flower beds in our yard.

It was a special deal from Angie's list:: $120 for 4 hrs. of landscape work. He called the next day to set up an appointment and within a couple of days we'd scoped out the job. He was very clear about what he would and would not do. He did more than I expected. Instead of just edging the lawn, he cut it back to the concrete edging (a much more difficult job). Edging around the gardens was complicated because of weeds everywhere, and he did a beautiful job. After mowing he cleaned up everything around the yard and neatly composted the clippings. He evenly cleaned the back patio. Excellent job overall.

did a terrific job. I bought 4 hours at $120.00, and spent additional $20 to haul excess debris to dump. PArt of the 4 hours was for the dump. I thought the yard looked gorgeous, and my neighbors agreed.

Excellent price. Did exactly what we asked in two 4-hour sessions. Removed and disposed of weeds in area we chose. Made good recommendations for upkeep and suggested using plastic sheeting in the future; we will contact him again for an estimate and then probably hire him to lay the recommended sheeting and then cover with bark mulch and pea gravel in different areas. He worked quickly and made a huge difference in how the yard looks. Will definitely use him again and strongly recommend him for similar jobs.

Gerardo was fast. He spread 3 cubic yards of mulch in an hour. Plus he cleaned up the drive way, where the mulch was dumped. When contacted for this groupon service. He advised me where to get the mulch. The whole thing was quick and easily done.

It is like a new garden! I love how neat and tidy it looks. I was impressed at how all of the plants were carefully left alone but all of those pesky weeds were gone. Now I have to have him come back and put down the mulch before the weeds start to grow back! 2 days after I purchased the coupon on Angie's List, Mr. Terraza called to set up an appointment to go over what I wanted him to do. He was punctual and professional. He returned 2 days later to do the work. He did a great job and I recommend his company.

Excellent work. On time and very thorough. We are setting up a weekly service with them which will be helpful since I just had back surgery. Highly recommended.

The first time was the special 4 hours for $120.00. I just moved into a place with a big old mess for a yard. Gerardo did weeds, mowed and edged and defined the flower beds, and trimmed all plants. It was like night and day after he finished. Next he gave me a bid to take out all the bushes. These were mammoth bushes - overgrown and they really looked impossible to take out. When I got home the bushes were gone and the flower beds were so neat. I am more than happy and will absolutely call Gerardo again.

The work quality was mostly good, however, for me, the cost was high. I had used this company last year every week for ongoing work and the cost seemed high to me for the mowing and weed whacking that was completed. This year he brought in other people to do the work and the quality suffered. One week a section of weeding was not done and when I emailed about it, I was told it was the same as it usually was. I left it as was and he fixed it the next week. Then, I was informed the provider wanted to increase the already high fees I was paying. I discontinued service. I really like Gerardo as a person - he is nice, listens, creative in working with bush trimmings. However, for me, I ended up feeling as thought I had overpaid for the work that was completed. I have since hired a new person and he charges me $40, less a month than the original price I paid this provided and for the same quality service.

The provider was asked to mow lawn bi-weekly Lawn typically takes maximum of 2 hours to mow. This provider gave me price of 500 for 2 lawn mows - which is more than $100/hour!! Outrageous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He was prompt and professional. Did a great job on the yard and cleaned up everything afterward. His price was reasonable as well.

Gerardo arrived on time, every time, even in the scorching heat. He and his crew were very careful not to disturb the planters and other personal items in the yard, and even replaced them to their original positions when the job was completed. He went above and beyond the original agreement to ensure my yard turned out exactly as I had dreamed it would. He's also a very nice guy who works very hard. I won't hesitate to contact him again.

We called a few companies for estimates; some never showed at the appointed time! We were beginning to think perhaps we were 'too rural' to be bothered with. Thankfully our next call was to Gerardo Terrazas. He responded immediately to our phone call, came promptly for an estimate and returned days later to do the job. He arrived right on time and completed all the work we discussed in one day's time. He was thorough, professional and very respectful. I'll be sure to keep his business card front and center; we'll be using his services again!

My sister called Terrazas landscaping and left a message for the owner, Gerardo requesting an estimate. He called back within the hour to set up an appointment at our convenience. He was very courteous over the phone. He planned to meet the next day in hopes that if we decided to hire them, they would begin the work the following day. Gerardo called ahead to confirm our meeting. When he arrived, he introduced himself and shook hands, walking around the entire yard and garden allowing our mom to take her time to explain her style of gardening and what it was that she was needing. She is very detailed and he was very patient. He understood her and was very respectful. He had a great deal of knowledge about all of her plants and trees and took the time to make sure that he understood very clearly what it was that she wanted him to do. He was very careful to ask for clarification when he needed to make sure that she knew what it was that she was asking, especially when it came to measuring how much he would trim trees and how much he would take off of vines and branches. This was very helpful. It was clear to us that he loved gardens. After he made his estimate, we discussed price and he was willing to negotiate with us. They arrived the next day as planned and though his estimate of time was not exactly what he thought it would take to do the work, they still did everything they said they would do for us. It was a very big job, but they thought it would take an extra day which it did not. Though they were a bit more expensive than other companies that we received quotes from for this work, we were very pleased and felt that they were true artists and worth every penny! They worked non stop all day from 7:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. taking a break only for lunch. Gerardo and one other worker showed up in the morning to begin the job and later that afternoon, a third member of their team arrived. Approximately 29 hours were spent on this job if you consider the "man hours" of two members for 11 hours each and one member for approximately 7 hours. They originally thought it would take twice the hours for this big job, but I believe that they worked so hard, they completed the job much sooner! We considered this job to be priced not by their regular hourly rate, but by the job itself. We will be using them again for regular monthly maintenance. All three men were very hard workers.

Gerardo came out and completed the bid in a very timely manner, the original work bid was the lowest of 5 that I received, I contracted him to do the work and he was consistently on time and the work was wonderful. He did everything contracted, cleaned up the area, and it was a joy to come home to. Although he was a bit higher on the rate for ongoing lawn service than another company, his work ethic and professionalism, as well as his vast knowledge of landscape care helped me decide to hire his company for the ongoing work.

Gerardo responded to my initial call via text within 10 minutes. We set up an estimate time 30 minutes from then and he arrived a little early, which I appreciated. I felt that he listened well to what I wanted and gave me a fair estimate. He was able to do the work that same week and did it in two days. The first day he did all the clean up with only one other assistant and took about 2.5-3 hours. The second day he spread mulch by himself for another couple hours. I asked him to do an additional task that day and he was flexible which I also appreciated. I was very satisfied with the quality of the work and his attention to detail. I would definitely hire him again.

I am VERY pleased with the How did I pick Terrazas Landscape? Over two weeks ago I contacted a firm that did work for me last year. They said they would contact me in the next day or two to schedule a visit and provide an estimate. A week later I called and was told that some stuff came up and they were sorry. They would schedule a visit in the next day or so. As the jungle was growing quickly I was now very concerned to get the work done. Another week passed with no contact so I called three other contractors to ask for estimates. Gerardo was the only one that called back. Came out same day, surveyed the mess, and said he would have an estimate for me next morning. It came and was very reasonable so I accepted. He replied within hours and we scheduled the work for two days hence. The owner and his associate showed up on time and, in a constant rain shower, worked for 4 1/2 hours. The transformation to the front and back is amazing! The flower beds have flowers and have been thinned so that there is structure to the plantings. And, oh yes, there are no more weeds which were threatening to take over everything. Also, the lawn now is recognizable as a lawn rather than looking like a sprouting alfalfa field. I am very pleased with the responsiveness, professionalism, and quality of work I experienced with Terrazas Landscape. So pleased I asked if they would provide yard maintainence on a regularly scheduled basis. I can't think of a higher recommendation.

The quote we received was fair and competitive. They promised a start time of within one week and a job duration of two days. That's exactly what they provided. The work was done completely to expectations and the two gentlemen performing the work were professional and very friendly. They are the sort of company I'd like to work with on a regular maintenance basis.

They do good work although I think it was not quite as good as the first time I used them. My mistake was in not walking around before signing off on the job. I will still use them next year and they are very fast and mostly excellent.

They did a very nice job. They were very prompt. I felt that they worked very hard and I thought I got my money's worth. They did a lot of cleanup. It is a 2 acre property. I thought they did a lot of work for what they charged me.

He was late and I had to leave . He dealt with my wife.. He was professional with the process, but I just found another person who did the work for less.

He was professional. Gave me a written estimate. Was on time and did a great job. I had a lot of weeds and overgrown grass and blackberry bushes. He cleared everything out and cut the grass short. I am very happy with the service and will hire him again and recommend to others.
