Suntech Awnings

It was fine. My husband and I were home for most of it and we got them going. They had a little trouble because the man that gave the estimate made it sound easier than it was going to be. They were kind of high windows, but they managed. The service was okay. We had estimates from other companies. We haven't really used them because we don't have hot weather, but we've been pleased with the appearance from the inside and the outside. Their responsiveness was good. They were a little late in coming out. It was not much, it was a couple of hours.

It was very good. They away down the awning that had fallen and they took all that material away and they put a brand new awning to replace it. The quality of the work is excellent. It's beautiful, it's sturdy, the quality of the work is just fine and the guy who did the work was easy to work with, and I appreciated that. They were flooded with work so the times that he could not make it when I was expecting him, he gave me notice and he kept in touch with me about that.

Tried out Suntech based on a recommendation from a neighbor and I'm absolutely thrilled. Ken came out to look at the space and talked with me about several options and what would work and not work. Got a lot of good ideas. The installation took place in under two weeks from the consultation. Ken and his assistant really took pride in their work. Took about two days to build and it looks amazing. Got the look of wood with the longevity (and minimal maintenance) of aluminum. Made such a difference in my backyard - it accented the look of the house and allowed me to be able to spend a lot more time in the backyard (no matter the weather).

I've had quite an experience with contractors over the 4 years I lived in my area and I think Ken was at the top of the line. He was very good. He was very easy to work with. He showed me what he was going to do and then when he was done, he showed me what he had done and his work was very good work and very good priced too.

They got started at 9:00 a.m. and finished at 6:15 p.m. They didn't waste any time; a job that could easily have taken more that one day, they finished in one. They did a very good job, not perfect, but very good (but I'm a perfectionist). A couple of nice guys to boot!
