It was awful. Somehow, the techs managed to dislodge and bend the ceiling vent cover for my central air. It was probably from moving furniture. Instead of fixing the large cover, or telling me what happened, they left the bent metal cover just sitting on my floor. It no longer clips into place. I guess I will be ordering a new cover from Home Depot, while still paying full-price for their service. I have used them for years, and the customer service has definitely diminished over time. They do not accept requests for specific teams, even if you have a favorite team and are willing to wait for them because they do superior work. I will be securing a new carpet cleaners for my rentals and home.

This was the worst carpet cleaning experience I’ve ever had. They were very nice but...we were charged over double what we were quoted over the phone. The stains in our light colored carpet (pet stains from a large puppy) did not come out (we’ve had other companies do this before and the stains came right out). I’m not even sure they used a cleaning solution, to be honest, as there was no clean smell in the carpets once they finished. It took multiple days to dry (it normally takes one day), as if the water wasn’t all sucked back out like it should have been, and we were getting a mildew smell there at the end. We had windows open and fans running for days. To recap, we were charged double the quoted price, they did not actually clean the stains we hired them to remove, too much water was left in the carpets leaving a mildew smell. This will be the only time we hire this company.

They were quite good. It was a special price, not average price.

The workers came and did the job quickley and easily as all our furniture had been removed for another project. Very professional nice guys.

The staff arrived within the window of time promised. They moved furniture and thoroughly cleaned the carpets. They did a great job.

The entire experience was very good. From the phone call to schedule to the email confirmation to the actual cleaning of the carpets and couch. They were on time and did the work quickly. They were cautious not to track dirt in the house and wiped up the tile at the front door that was wet before they left.

They were good. The price was reasonable.

Great job. Jim and Tim (I kid you not....really their names) were on time, friendly, helpful, informative AND they did a first rate job. Stains I thought would never come up are gone and the house smells so much fresher. Thanks guys for a great job. See you in 4 months (I bought the extended maintainance program at a really good price....thanks Jim for telling me about it!)

They did a very good job. They removed many stains I did not think would come out.

I bought a package deal where you get four cleanings over a year, and I found it to be very affordable. They do an excellent job, they are knowledgeable, they educate their customers well, I know who to contact when I have questions, and they have answers for everything. I have two dogs and they got more dog hair off of the recliner than I was aware of. They were very respectful during the process.

They came on time and were efficient and thorough, and I was very pleased with the results. They also pointed out spots in the installed carpets that would not come out as well as other damage (burns). I prefer this method of cleaning because there are no chemical odors when they are done, the rugs, upholstery, and carpets dry quickly, and I am able to get the room in livable order the day after they leave.

I have been using them to do different carpet cleanings. They are okay. I usually try to get them to do special cleaning for the carpets. I’ll use them again in the future.

I was really hesitating on choosing them because I live in a small town and there is one vendor here that is well known but they are very expensive. I did not know who else to choose but Stanley Steemer was wonderful in every aspect. The home grown competition has some real competition with Stanley Steemer. The staff was wonderful in every way, they were friendly, professional, they enjoyed their work. They didnt mind that I was home and working on a project. They did everything they could to help me, it really meant a lot. They kept in touch with me via phone as to when they would be here.

They arrived on time, they explained the process, they performed the work, and then packed up their equipment and left. They listened and accepted one or two suggestions from me regarding the order of the work.

Great! This was my first experience with a professional carpet cleaning company and I was very happy with the service. I called for an appt. and it was very easy to schedule a time that worked for me. They arrived promptly when they said they would be here. They were done really fast! I was surprised how much quicker they could do it then I could using a DIY method. They were able to pull up all the stains that I had concerns with and even told me if the stains reappeared with 10 days to call them back for a re-clean (the stains didn't reappear, but I appreciated that offer). Some stains apparently can take 2 cleanings. I was completely pleased with professionalism and service!

The crew showed up on time and went to work immediately. They moved the furniture that was necessary and began the cleaning process. After the cleaning was completed they replaced all the furniture, placing everything on little "feet" so that the carpet would dry properly.

They are honest and professional. They came on time and took care of rugs. They are great and I would recommend them and they are very nice to work with.

The two technicians arrived on time. They were pleasant, went right to work, and did their best.

Stanley Steemer responded first thing Monday morning to an email I sent them on a Sunday afternoon, and scheduled the job the very next day. They were 45 minutes late but called first for permission to come late, and completed the job in just over two hours, their estimate by phone. They did exactly what they said they would do, with no wasted time or talk. Both men were personable, clean and polite, and wore uniforms. The price was slightly higher than some other companies in the area, but well worth it. It's obvious the franchise sets standards that are higher than other single companies in the area. We'll use them again soon to clean micro-pore upholstery furniture of pet stains. They also offer a good line of products for upkeep too, and deliver them free if they don't have what you want to buy on the truck.

I was surprised because they were able to get my pastel colored couch to look almost like new. It is ten years old. They left everything really clean and neat. They called the day before and told me they were coming, and they also called the day after to make sure that I was satisfied.

They are pretty much a step above average. They definitely got all of the stains out and did a very good job. They were on time, friendly, and they made sure to answer all of my questions so that we could have the right mix of services done on the carpets. I am pleased overall.
