What a wonderful experience we had with our remodel/addition from Signature Kitchen! Everything went very smooth thanks to Adam, Ericka, Steve and Phil. When the inevitable problems did arise, they were dealt with professionally, creatively and skillfully. Adam was able to make any potential adverse situation very workable. We enjoyed the experience and would hire Signature Kitchen without hesitation for our next project. Not only are they completely knowledgeable and capable, they are truly pleasant, nice folk.

After spending 15+ years in our current residence, we decided an upgrade was due. We interviewed several contractors, checked the CCB website, and talked with previous clients. After completing our "due diligence" we decided to hire Signature Kitchen & Design to complete all the work. From Ericka's designs and suggestions, to Adam's outstanding general contractor skills we were incredible pleased. Not only did our project include a new, remodeled kitchen with all new appliances, cabinets, lighting, and prep island, but additionally 3 new bathrooms, a completely remodeled living and dining area featuring an "open concept", new updated windows, hickory wood flooring, tile flooring, gas fireplace, permanent propane tank and plumbing, as well as the removal of existing baseboard heaters, and installation of an energy efficient heat pump. What comes to mind regarding Signature Kitchen & Design is the pride of workmanship and the care of which both Ericka and Adam demonstrated throughout our project. Erika's creative work, including responsiveness to our questions, as well as Adam's accessibility and understanding of client concerns was outstanding. To anyone searching for a company to handle all phases of remodel, we highly recommend Signature Kitchen & Design.

We originally hired Signature Kitchens to install some new kitchen cabinets. When Ericka came by for the first consultation to discuss the cabinets, she showed us how a redesign would give us a more efficient use of the space we had and give us more storage and counter than we originally planned. What a pleasure it was to work with a designer who really knew her stuff and also knew how the contractor would get things done. All my homeowner type questions were patiently and completely answered. Ultimately the redesign was a complete success and we have a BEAUTIFUL new kitchen (and family room and pantry and mud room) with tons of cabinets and counters! The construction phase, although not a pleasurable experience for us (living in other rooms of the house at the time), went off without too many hitches. Our house is a Meltebeke design and as such, good quality and stout construction. But over the years, modifications by others made for some very interesting discoveries. Adam and his crew never skipped a beat and found workable, cost effective solutions to any and all problems. They even let me help on some of the ticky-tacky stuff that I’m good at just to save a couple of bucks. Of course there were small glitches like the hot and cold water swap on the moved clothes washer hook up. And the beautiful LED under-cabinet lights that were different color temperatures. But ALL these things were taken care of in a timely and professional manner. We were so pleased with Ericka’s design skills and Adam and crew’s workmanship on this project that we hired Signature Kitchens to redesign and remodel the rest of the house including all new cabinets and tile in two bathrooms (a tough job in my opinion). Maybe the company name should be Signature House, not just Signature Kitchens! Overall, even though they are not finished with mine as I write this, Signature Kitchens is a five star, A+++ outfit to consider for your next redesign/remodel project.

We have completed two major home renovations (two different homes) with Signature Kitchen, and we are about to embark on a third major project for a home we recently purchased. Needless to say, we have been very pleased with the work performed by Signature Kitchen and have total confidence in Adam and Ericka, the owners. In both of our completed projects, Ericka performed the front-end design work. This woman has incredible vision as she opened our eyes to what was possible within our stated budget. She also assisted us with where to purchase things like appliances, lights and bathroom fixtures at the best prices. After the design work was completed, Adam supervised the construction with a combination of their own employees and subcontractors. He did a great job of scheduling the work around subcontractor availability, and both projects were completed on time. Since completion, we have had a couple of typical follow up/warranty issues, and they quickly assessed and resolved the issues without any claim that the issues were outside the scope or time of their warranty terms. Frankly, a recent issue was clearly outside their time warranty, and they fixed it at their cost with no complaints. Now, we are excited to move into our third major renovation project with such skilled and honest people.

We are so happy with our new master bath! It was a huge undertaking but it turned out very functional and breathtaking. All the features we dreamed of were implemented and worked into the project. We love all the suggestions that were given us, but they never pressured us. I feel they are a great company and will not hesitate to use them for my next project

It was super ! The remodel went smooth, on time and ended up being exactly what we expected and hoped for. Ericka helped up so much and made the kitchen so beautiful and Adam was there every step of the way during this project. This was the second time we used them and just like the first time they did an excellent job and very high quality as usual.

The overall feeling of my kitchen is Very warm & inviting. Totally functional, Ericka incorporated every clever element that a small area could have. Loved you both and we love our kitchen. Love the new kitchen! Never thought our small 1970’s kitchen could look so good! It’s better than buying a new house. I would recommend them to other homeowners.

The contract was signed on the 9th of June and ten grand was advanced. Construction was to begin on the 24th of July. No construction was performed and they refused to return my money. Mediation with the CCB failed and I will be pursuing legal action.

Very frustrating working with this husband & wife team. She is the designer, he is the contractor. They are either too busy, or too scattered. On the very first day on site, he was 'not sure what needed to take place on this project'. Several weeks they traveled out of state to leave sub-contractors to do the work at sub-par level. Work was never completed to a satisfactory level. They have threatened to sue us in the past, and now have turned us over to a collection agency. Run from this company

Everything went well, and without any problems. The design was super fun and easy. We picked all the products out with the help of a designer/ owner and that made that part great. The job construction time was 12 weeks and they told me it would take 10-12 weeks, so I was happy about that. I would not hesitate to use them or recommend them to all my friends and family. Everyone who sees my kitchen is amazed. They took a pretty bad kitchen and completed the whole thing A-Z without any snags.

Although this was not a huge job, they took pride in their workmanship and quality throughout the entire process. It was a painless project and we are very happy we used them to do this kitchen for us. They really are a nice group to work with. As with any remodel we had a few things come up that were hidden until the job was under way, and we all worked through it efficiently and we felt we were given options for the solutions. We did end up adding two small bathrooms to the job at the end so we threw them a curve ball, but it did not phase the team at all.

The project went terrific. I would recommend this husband wife team for any remodel or addition. The timing was pretty close to the estimate, but we added a ton of extra stuff and it added a few weeks. So that was our fault. Over all we interviewed four contractors and signature was the only company that came up with any good ideas. Every one else just expected us to tell them what we wanted and we didn't want to be the designer. Their subcontractors are top notch and very qualified. The price point was right in the mix with many of the other contractors but with better quality and higher allowances in each of the categories. I called all their references and they said pretty much the same thing so now that the job is done we are very happy to have used this company.

Not very well! Kitchen demolition was completed on time, but it was a month before construction began - leaving us with minimal cooking space, a dangerous floor, and using bathroom sink, each day wondering when work would start. Instead of the planned finish date for Thanksgiving '15, we did not have a completed kitchen till mid-February '16. There were no blue prints - drawings were used instead. This made it difficult on subcontractors who often needed to ask me to clarify drawings. The first project done was a partial wall built in the wrong place. It had to be knocked down to be rebuilt. Several walls and ceilings needed to be primed and painted twice because of mistakes and poor quality drywall work. As homeowners who had requested to do the painting, this added to the stress of this project. Budget was difficult to track. As a result, we needed to eliminate some of the budgeted work or we would have gone substantially over budget. A mistake I made was not having our cabinets done by a local cabinet maker. Instead, I was talked into Crystal Cabinets, which Adam and Ericka represent. The warranty is not written to represent what had been promised - we discovered this when the cabinets were delivered. One "matching" cabinet was 2 1/2 " longer, two doors were warped, etc. Each correction took several months. Communication with Adam during construction period was horrible! Overall, this was not a positive experience, capped by a scathing email from Ericka when she thought I had written a negative review on Angie's List. She was mistaken, but our reviews are now similar.

The job went very smooth. Although I added a bunch of things, the contractor kept the job going without any hitches. He was very easy to work with and really new his stuff. The contractors he used are very efficient and knowledgable. Design was perfect. I spent more than I expected but it's because I kept adding to the project.

It did not go so well. Signature Kitchen and Design way overbook themselves with projects and the customers suffer. I was promised on the contract that it would be completed in 8-10+ weeks. It took 22 weeks! There were weeks that no one showed up to work or they worked for a couple of hours. The electrician got sick after about the 16th week which further delayed the project. Had the timeline been close to what was projected then the illness would not have been an issue. I had to beg to get my kitchen in usable condition so I could cook a Thanksgiving dinner. I never dreamed at the beginning of this process that it would not be finished by Thanksgiving. Even then it took until just before Christmas to get finished. Ericka, is the PR person and she does the design and the bidding. Adam, Ericka’s husband, is the contractor. I made a recommendation to them that Adam take a more active role in the bidding. During the consultation, Erika talked about lots of different amenities that I believed were part of the bid. The contract was vague and I stupidly believed that since they are the contractors they know what they are doing. The communication between Ericka and Adam was not great in terms of what was being included and what was extra. Adam thought many things were extra and I was under the impression they were part of the contract. In addition, at the beginning of the project we had expanded the location of the kitchen into another room and an arbitrary price was added to the original kitchen remodel contract. That arbitrary price was way under bid and it ended up costing me an additional $27K more once the construction was finished. I was made aware of a couple of extra charges but I had no idea it would be so much. Should you decide to use this contractor, get a detailed contract! Communication with Ericka was frustrating for me. I sent an email to her before the project started about placing the microwave in the island and it didn’t happen. I had to tell her 3 times what quartz I wanted on the island. The flooring didn’t get ordered by Ericka after we picked it out and Adam had to do that. I liked 2 different sinks and faucets when we were picking out the plumbing fixtures. I asked Ericka to tell me the price difference and then I would decide. She wrote down the 2 sinks and faucets but never got back to me on the prices and nothing got ordered until later when it was time to install them and Adam asked which one I wanted. She also wrote down the board that the cabinet pulls were on, but not the actual pulls that were chosen. Ericka promised me that at the end they would go over everything with a fine tooth comb to make sure it’s right and that never happened. I had to contact Adam to get things fixed. One of their carpenters is good, the other 2 are just okay (some stuff had to be fixed because not done right the 1st time). The subcontractors were fine with the exception of the plasterers who had to come back and redo some areas that were not done correctly. I like my kitchen now that is finished, but it cost me way more than I had planned on. I would not recommend using this company.

Initially, our designer Ericka met with us many times to review room layouts and design plans for our addition. She was spot on in nailing the style I wanted for the kitchen, and that vision remained the driving force behind all of our design decisions throughout the process, making for an absolutely beautiful and coherent kitchen. There were many design decisions along the way - from miniscule things such as cabinet knobs to major things such as countertops and cabinets. Ericka walked me through all of the decisions, even meeting me in Salem to select countertops. Ericka was great to work with - full of energy and great ideas. Our kitchen is better than I could have ever imagined, and Ericka was key to creating a space suiting our tastes and full of light, a perfect place to cook and eat and make memories. Our contractor Adam and his fabulous crew made our vision into something real. Adam visited the site often and was always reachable by phone or text. He was easy to talk with, always open to changes I would come up with, and did an excellent job at staying on top of the many different things going on at our house. He also had some great ideas along the way that added some very nice touches to the project. If there were problems or mistakes made along the way, he was always fair and quick to fix things. One of the reasons we chose Signature Kitchen and Bath was that they were a small and personable company. The finish carpenter who came today was the same one who came yesterday. We knew all the workers on a first-name basis. Adams?s subs not only did their jobs well, but were professional, friendly, and respectful. I was comfortable with them in my house. I am happy with the work Ericka and Adam did for us - from the initial design to the finished addition. They gave our family something we have dreamed of for years. They built it well, they built it beautifully, and they made the process as painless as possible. I highly recommend them and will use them again for future remodeling projects.

My husband and I were very pleased with her professionalism, punctuality and presentation. Ericka is a very friendly and caring person who really does want to see people happy and comfortable in their homes. We did choose to wait to redo our kitchen but that in no way reflects on Signature Kitchen & Design. We were personally not ready to take on a project of that magnitude at this time. We would highly recommend both Ericka and Adam from Signature Kitchen & Design for anyone wanting to see their dreams and ideas be put into reality for their home.

My wife and I attended a home redecorating class that Ericka taught and both of us found the presentation to be excellent. Ericka provided the participants with insight and very useful information on planning a home remodel, how to gauge the scope and cost of the project, and steps to take to maximize the value. Her comments were intelligent, clear and geared towards the consumer. She also sat down with us and carefully walked through the process. Her thoughtful ideas and comments helped us make the right choices for our situation. We highly recommend her. Ericka, thank you so much!

We are not complete yet but it is going great, they communicate very well, everyone is respectful and courteous. We never feel rushed if we as for an explanation or embarrassed when we ask questions. Lovely, caring, honest people. We feel that their goal is not only to provide a service but to also ensure our comfort, satisfaction & happiness.

Ericka met with me to go over the design and budget. She gave suggestions and was easily able to create a design that I loved. The construction take a few months to complete, but Adam was very receptive and easy to get a hold of and kept me updated on the progress. The end result is exactly what I wanted and well worth the time and money!

We were supposed to get a full design and bid but never heard from them. When I called she said they had been swamped and would get on it and get the bid out. Never heard from them again....

We met Adam at the Home Show and liked the pictures we saw of work they had done. We met with Erica and she talked about what we wanted and what was important to us. We wanted to get rid of the jetted tub which we rarely used and have a much larger shower. Erica drew up a wonderful plan that gave us more than we had asked for. The cabinets provided loads of extra storage and the mirrors make the spacious bathroom look even larger. Erica met me in Eugene to select the tiles and fixtures and the finished product was better that we had imagined. Everything blends together to mark this as a unique custom bathroom. We talked with three other contractors and did not feel that any of them would include us in the process. They had "canned" ideas and did not seem interested in our priorities. Since the remodel, I have has back surgery and truly appreciate the shower bench and the grab bars. We also have a grab bar by the comfort height toilet which has been a lifesaver. I would have hated to go through my recovery and rehab in our old bathroom with the low toilet and no grab bars. Those extra touches have made all the difference for me. One of our shower head fell on the tile floor and broke several months after the project was completed. Adam picked up a new shower head and came out and installed it for us, only charging the cost of the shower head. We are pleased with our new master bath and still show it off to visitors. We think this was one of the best investments we ever made.
