Great.

The workers were on time and did the work very efficiently. They had to make two trips. (This was the plan from the beginning.) They finished before the estimated time of completion. They made sure that they knew what I wanted in terms of where the soil needed to be blown on. When they are not sure what I want, they ask. They are very pleasant to work with. I have had these two - Brent and Jake - here in the past to blow on soil or compost. I like working with them so I ask for them by name.every time I need soil or mulch products blown onto my yard and garden. I think another company might be a little cheaper, but I know I get good service from this team so I have not changed companies.

It was pretty pricey to totally have my yard redone and it was close to $10000. I liked the ideas that the landscape designer had and those ideas suited my house. The designer understood what I wanted and she also had much better ideas than I had. Some ideas were like some part of it blooming all the time. The driveway was very narrow and I felt like I could hardly get out of my car. So, they put in some pavers along the side of the driveway which made it much nicer. There is a curved walkway up from the street, which looks really nice. People who walk by or come to the house say that my house looks beautiful. They got rid of everything, but they saved the plants that were worth saving and moved them around. They are a little on the high end. I don't know what landscaping should cost. So, I think their prices are medium to high. The other thing I was really impressed with was how quickly they did it. They redid my entire yard front and back in two weeks. They quoted me two weeks, but I didn't believe them and they did. Their quality is excellent. I have also hired them to do the weekly maintenance. That's a whole different team and a whole different side.

I called them and asked if they service lawn irrigation systems. I explained that we had recently purchased the home and were just now trying to get the system up and running. We had the pump rebuilt due to freeze damage and I reinstalled it. I told Rexius that the pump would need to be primed before turning on the system to locate leaks. They were real good about scheduleing an appointment and the technician arrived on the schedule day on time. He primed the pump and got it running. Then proceeded to check the leaks. We located a couple of leaks, but he told me that there wasn't enough pressure and that the pump needed to have a pressure tank installed before anything more could be done. After he left I called the company who rebuilt the pump and asked them about the pressure tank and they laughed saying this pump doesn't need a pressure tank. I was then told to make sure that all the valves to each zone were closed and then open them 1 at a time. They said I should be able to run up to 2 zones at a time. We have more than enough pressure. I wrote a note on the invoice and mailed it along with the check for $65.00 to Rexius. I figured I would at least get a phone call from them. For $65.00 they have a customer who will tell everyone not to use them. Because of this I found another landsacape company through Angies list who I have hired to put in a new lawn for us. We have 6,000 of lawn that is being replaced and Rexius could have had the job. Oh well, their loss!

Overall the work was very well done. The main contractor was fantastic and very responsive. The plumber was subpar and required a lot of direction to get acceptable results. In the end everything was done satisfactorily, and they did a good job of putting up with me as a first time hirer of a lawn company.

All the work was done professionally and with aesthetic sensibility. Marti Gilbert planned well and her team was speedy, neat, and thorough. The plumbing irrigation was done promptly to repair a leak, on a cold day in the rain. I've used them twice now and will again. They are somewhat more expensive but do great work.

VEry well. Marti Gilbert was my garden/landscape designer and overall supervisor of the project. She met me several times before the deal was signed and also was present daily for 2 weeks to oversee the project. The workers were very professional and also kind to and careful with my dogs.. Im very pleased with the project

I was scheduled to have a crew arrive on Wednesday 6/30/2010 . My house was to go on the market Friday and the photographer was coming on Thursday. I was told "they just have a quick 30 minute job to do on Wednesday morning right near you and they will arrive at your house between 8:30-9:00 AM". I called at 11:30 and asked when they would be here and I was told "I don't know, they have lots of jobs to do before yours, and they may not even get to you today." I couldnt believe it, what a change in the story from just two days earlier. When I asked for a supervisor, they told me that since I was upset and it was already so late in the day, they thought it best if they just cancel my job. I couldnt believe it! They mess up and overbook and instead of apologizing and working out something they cancel me. I had been counting on this and working with them with times and estimates and prices for almost two weeks. I hope this never happens to anyone else, it was very unprofessional and has delayed me listing my house and getting the exterior photos done, besides for me waiting 4 hours on Wednesday for a crew that never showed up!

Very well. Their crew was on-time and VERY careful around all of our plants. I would recommend the product and the service to anyone.

We went out to several companies with our general ideas and chose Rexius. It alone seemed to offer reasonable prices and the professionalism to get a quality job done. A knowledgeable designer gave us options and made sure the project stayed within our budget. In the end, we got a lot more than we thought and are very satisfied.

Our backyard has been basically unused since we moved into our house seven years ago. It was quite sloped and overrun with weeds, and not a great place for two small kids to play. The primary goal was to flatten out as big a spot as possible where we could put a playground structure, add a retaining wall and put down a lawn. This project took more than a month from start to finish, but there was a problem with the supplier of the wall block material that slowed everything down. Things were also hampered by difficulty getting into the yard itself, since everything had do go down an 8 foot wide steep path next to our house. The first day was cleanup of existing weeds and a large exposed stump from a tree that had fallen over, along with some earthmoving to rough in the shape of the retaining wall. Later on in the first week, they started bringing in the boulders. These were arranged in the lowest corner of the yard to act as a retaining wall. Stacked maybe 8-10 feet high, they double as a climbing wall for the kids. Maybe a dozen others were put down on one of the side slopes as more places to play, as well as being a sort of anchor to tie the retaining into. The boulders were completely their idea, and they turned out to be a fantastic choice. Not only do they look great and make things a little more interesting, the kids like to play on them. The workers that were here were always willing to talk over what they were doing, and address any questions or concerns that I had. I had some minor difficulty communicating with the site manager near the end of the project when we were discussing lawn choices, having to wait a few days for a return phone call. That, however, was the only real complaint I had during the whole process.

I had a fairly positive experience with them. Everything looks good so far. They have a few things I still want them to do. They were great about showing up on time. The representative I dealt with seemed to be professional.

Rexius is a terrific company; their personnel are genuinely interested in landscaping that will enhance the overall environment. They guarantee their plantings and promptly replaced two heathers that did not survive transplanting with the same variety of heather from the same contract grower (they wouldn't do it any other way). They also suggested small and inexpensive hardscaping that dramatically enhanced the appearance of our front yard. A class act.
