Three workers showed up on time and completed the job on time. The were very professional and friendly. The work was completed in two days and went smoothly. They also leveled our gazebo for us for free. It only took an hour or so to do it, but it was a nice gesture. Ken followed up to make we were satisfied with the work. Great company..deserved reputation.

I interviewed many foundation repair companies, but only Ram Jack had a written lifetime guarantee that is transferrable to a new owner if I should ever decide to sell this property. .Ram Jack of Oregon told me that we did not need anything done. I had four companies come out and look at the foundation and it went all the way from him telling me that we did not need anything done to one guy telling me that we needed a whole new foundation for $25000. I went with the Ram Jack guy’s recommendation. He was the last guy to come out, he was really straight forward, honest and upfront. I really appreciated his honesty. I told him so when he left that day. He told me not to waste my money on anything. His honesty and integrity was obvious. I will use this provider if needed in the future.

At 60 years old, I have owned 5 houses in three different States. Working with Ken was far and away my best home repair experience for the following reasons: 1. The work was done as described. 2. The work was done within realistic timeframes. 3. The entire crew is highly competent, professional, hard working and very pleasant to have around the house. 4. Job clean-up is taken seriously. 5. If a problem arises, Ken makes it right...totally right. 6. Their bid was competitive and there were no financial surprises. When I wanted additional items added to the job, the charges for the work I requested was very fair. 7. Huge attention was paid to my wife's roses and other plantings.

We are on our second fixer-upper house so we have dealt with a LOT of contractors over the last few years. Our experience with Ramjack was far and away the best so far. They we incredibly professional from start to finish and we were very impressed with the quality of their work. That is not to say the job went smoothly- far from it. However, we haven't a project go exactly according to plan yet- unexpected things always crop up and I think how a contractor handles that is incredibly important. Our downstairs laundry room and bathroom started flooding and we realized we had a foundation crack. Getting estimates from other foundation contractors was not super easy but the receptionist, Cindy, at Ramjack was great and Ken was out within hours to do the bid. he was friendly, personable and professional and clearly knew what he was doing. The estimate arrived via email the next day and Ramjack even provides financing options if needed. We accepted the proposal since it was much more thorough than the others we had received and we were familiar with Ramjacks reputation. We are so pleased that we did. The crew arrived right on time every day they were here. They were professional, courteous and answered any questions we had. Ken the owner was also available via cell phone throughout the project for any questions I had as well. The weather while the crew was here was horrendous- not just rain but hail- and that slowed the project a bit. The rain caused their ditch to collapse in on itself at one point which lead to twice as much of our deck needing to be removed than was originally anticipated. Contractors we have worked with in the past would have been on the phone asking for more money at this point but even though this added considerably to their time and expense Ramjack continued on, honoring their original bid. The job wound up taking twice as much time as they had originally expected with more supplies needed but they cheerfully finished the job. As it progressed our yard looked worse and worse and i found myself rereading the contract where it said that our yard would look "as good or better than it did when they started". I truly did not think there was a chance that that would be possible- the mud and destruction was really bad. But, when I came home on the final day it was true, our yard did actually look better than it did when they started. They reseeded our grass where it was damaged and put down mulch in the other areas to cover the mud. They even washed off the side of our house and deck where it had gotten a little dirty and power washed the mud off our driveway. Our experience with Ramjack was fabulous and we would highly recommend them to anyone.

Our home was built in 1977. About 2 years ago our sliding glass doors stopped closing completely at the top and the door to our walk in crawl space was binding. By the fall of 2010, there was an open gap at the top of the sliding doors of about 1/2 inch and the crawl space door needed a hard kick to open. We started researching solutions to the problem. Talked to contractors, engineers, and even an arborist ( a tree was near the doors). Based on their observations, we interviewed three companies that installed helical piers for stabilizing the foundation. Ram-Jack was the only company that would install the piers by hand digging. The other two required tractors for installing the piers which would have meant tearing down fences and tearing up landscaping. In addition to preventing destruction on our property, we also chose Ram-Jack because Ken spent time with us explaining in detail what they would do and how they would do it. He was obviously very proud of his work. The engineers recommended that we install 12 piers, Ken convinced them that two were unnecessary. The quote from Ken was about what we thought it would be. He told us the work would take about 4 days and would start on Dec 7. The morning of Dec 7th his crew showed up, Ken introduced us to the foreman plus the laborers. The crew was great: worked hard and were very polite. When they ran into minor problems such as tree roots, they asked for my direction after giving me alternatives and ramifications. 4 days later at noon, we started lifting the foundation. It was amazing to see the gaps on the sliding glass doors close as piers were adjusted. We can now enter the crawl space normally and the house is now tighter than it has ever been. When the job was done, Ken had the area where they were working raked, smoothed and bark mulched. His crew also came back to seal several cracks that had been in the foundation. They do great work, are responsive (will usually call the same day) when we have questions. I highly recommend them. If you need this type of work done you will be very pleased working with Ken and company.

We were concerned about cracks that had developed in our walls, and doors that were sticking. I called on Friday the 11th to make an appointment. The (very friendly) lady who answered the phone confirmed that Ken would come out to our house at 3:30. Ken showed up 15 minutes early. After thoroughly measuring and evaluating our property, he told use he *could* install piers for several thousands of dollars to make sure the house never moves again. However, based on the types of cracks our foundation, the house is sound. The cracks are caused by the wetting and drying of the soil around our house. He recommended a soaker hose to keep the soil wet during the dry summer months. I was fully prepared to spend $5,000+ on foundation repair. Instead, the solution is going to cost me just a few dollars. It is rare to find an honest contractor. When I tried to pay Ken for his time, he politely declined, and simply asked that I refer others if any of my friends need repairs. I fully recommend Ken Marquardt and Ram Jack of Oregon.
