Bill had helped my sister sell her first home and buy her second, so when I was in the market for a house, she introduced us and he started working with me. As a first-time home buyer, I had a LOT of questions, and he was always available and prompt in responding to me, whether by phone, text, or email. He also really looked out for my best interests - at each house, he would point out any potential problems he saw, as well as letting us know what the advantages were. He always made me feel like I had someone knowledgeable on my side. We looked at about 7 houses, and put in an offer on one (short sale, so there was a looong pending period) before we found the house I ended up buying. It took about three months, and he was always available for my questions, even emailing me weekly to let me know there was nothing new, when we were in the waiting period for the first house. When we were dealing with the paperwork on the house, he communicated with my loan consultant to make sure that he thoroughly understood everything that the loan consultant was doing, and went to bat for me to get me a better deal on the loan. Any time I had a question about anything he would take the time to explain it to me, even when it was someone else's bailiwick. I felt confident at every step that I was being well represented. Best of all, though, he continued to be there for me after the sale was complete and we were moved in. In addition to recommending not one, but two handymen, he contacted the seller for me a couple of times after the fact, when one of the requested repairs turned out to not have been done, and he checked in with me several times on that matter. I cannot recommend him enough, especially for a first-time home buyer. He really takes the time to look out for your best interests and help you get the right home for you - not to mention, helping you settle into home ownership after the sale.
