The technician was completely computer savvy and at the same time could put what he was doing step-by-step into terms I could understand (I'm 75 y/o and don't find computer matters to be intuitive at all). He kept checking with me as he went along to make sure he was getting done what I had asked for. He didn't try to up-sell me on any extra things. I was very satisfied with his work!

Excellent. They were able to take care of my computer the same day I called them. They worked quickly and efficiently and the problem with my computer was fixed.

It went smoothly and professionally. Aaron even called me before the appointment to let me know he was on his way. As a busy professional, I appreciated that - gave me time to prepare. When he arrived, he made it clear he was skilled in his knowledge of both Mac and PC platforms and with his own equipment, was able to access the many devices on my network and configure it properly. I could tell he knows his stuff. It was not only his service that brought me to write this review but in realizing, the day after, how wonderfully everything just works now. All computers in the house are talking to one another and we can access content on those hard drives without fail. Even the troublesome WiFi printer is working. I am extremely thankful and appreciative for having it all work now. I would highly recommend Aaron and his company.

The technician that came out was knowledgeable, professional and spent a long time to ensure that our computers were completely serviced. The technician even took our hard drive back to the office to save us money. They will be coming back to build a computer for us.

aaron arrived on time (as he always does) & got my brand new laptop up & running. this is more than i'm capable of attacking myself, as i have a lot of programs that need to be downloaded (browsers, programs, security ware, etc.). he also installed a drive so i could use my printer & added a drive to connect the laptop to my stand alone computer directly, so i can access all my files from my desktop on my new laptop. i've been running xp & vista, so i'm unfamiliar w/anything like windows 7, 8 or 10. my new laptop being windows 10, he was able to download a microsoft windows program that actually allows the laptop to "look" & respond more like the old xp/vista operating systems, rather than the new windows 10 "app" look, or "tablet" feel. he customized a lot of the programs & such for me so that everything pretty much mimics what i've been used to using for the past 10 years (overriding many of the defaults which do not pertain to what i want to do or need). his services are well worth his very reasonable charges, as they leave me w/a totally "customized" system that suits my everyday use, instead of what the manufacturer had in mind when they shipped it. i've used partners in computing for years & can't praise their integrity & expertise enough. they are very reasonably priced, highly knowledgeable & trustworthy.

aaron always shows up on time & does a great job of assessing any damage to the software/hardware & files on my laptop & stand alone computers. i've been using his computer services for years & have never felt a need to look for another n***. he's extremely knowledgeable, conscientious & capable of & fixing my hardware & software problems & installing any new hardware, updates, software, etc. i may need. also, he has the capability of explaining computer problems in a way the average person can understand -- a huge plus. i'm just so grateful there's such an excellent, reasonably priced computer service in our area.

It went extremely well. Computer speed GREATLY0 improved. Aaron was professional, patient, prompt, and charged a fee that was less than anticipated. We highly recommend him.

Computer was malfunctioning. Provider contacted by phone. He called back, and repair was done remotely via internet and eamil.

Aaron is great. He discovered a problem with the HDD (Hard Disk Drive) found a new 250GB SSD (Solid State Drive) online, and on sale! The SSD arrived, Aaron took it and my notebook to his office. Two days later my laptop is working properly -- and fast -- and more importantly, Microsoft Security Essentials is back with its protection. Thanks Aaron for a job well done!

I couldn't be more pleased with the technical expertise and professionalism of these two young men. The internet connectivity problem described above involved multiple cable types, connectors, modem/router combinations, and hardware/software switch settings. I honestly did not believe there would be an easy solution to this problem, let alone an easy way to identify the problem. I was surprised and most seriously impressed with the cool and calculated professionalism with which Aaron approached the problems, and I was absolutely elated when the problems were identified and resolved in a very short hour and a half visit. I am most pleased to give Aaron, Nick and Partners in Computing my very highest recommendation. In fact, I requested business cards from Nick so that I could share them with friends and family.

Fantastic service. Arrived on time, so professional and helpful. I had a long list of things I wanted to have done and they were all completed. When he was all finished, my new computer "looked" like the old one. Favorites, Settings, Backup program, Software, etc. And he told me about a great after school program to donate my old computer. Highly recommend. Would definitely use again.

We have used Aaron Madzik of Partners in Computing a few times in the past and were pleased with his work. This time we asked him to set up our new computer. He was prompt in responding and very efficient in his work. We had to have a new e-mail program and he was able to suggest and install one which has been workable for us. He also set up a connection between our computer and his (we have control of the connection) which allows him, with our permission, to work on an issue remotely. We actually used that capability recently to help us get Skype set up correctly on our computer. That worked only temporarily, but Aaron offered to provide more time to work it out with no additional charge. However, I was able to get it figured out on my own prior to our appointment. With our old computer Aaron helped us with some technical issues and was always helpful. We would certainly use his services again and recommend him to others.

aaron was able to book some time for this quickly & accomplished reinstallation of aol with the teamviewer software remotely. as always, i was very pleased w/his prompt response & expertise.

He was on time, professional, and I was happy with the service.

Aaron Madzik came to the house right on time for our appointment. He went to work immediately trying to find out why our printer was not working. After a complete checkup he determined that the printer had a bad element in it and could not be fixed. He recommended we purchase a new one. He then asked us if our computer was running OK and we told him it was running pretty slow like there was too much in memory and took forever to download anything. He did a comprehensive evaluation of the computer programs and eliminated many we didn't need and he also discovered a virus that could cause problems. He normally had a piece of software with him that would have made the deletion of the virus simple, but not having this software he had to clean up the virus manually which took him much longer than anticipated. However, he did effectively clear out the virus to our satisfaction. When he made out our invoice he did not charge us for the extra time it took to clear the virus manually. He said it would have been much easier and faster if he had the correct software.

Great service, fast, cost effective and well done.

the price for this session included services on the 15th & also teamviewer services performed prior to the in-home repair service. aaron always arrives on time & performs all services in a professional manner. he has so much knowledge about lap tops & desktops, i wouldn't trust anyone else to work w/my machines. he explains things in a language "normal" people can understand. partners in computing is a very reasonably priced & reputable computer repair service.

Was only partially successful. Most of the unwanted windows were gone but not quite all. Installed Chrome which has resolved the problem.

We moved from New York into our new Eugene home last January. One of our first orders of business was to set up an internet connection and computer service. Based on previous excellent Angie's list reviews , we called Partners in Computers. Aaron, owner of Partners in Computing, showed up exactly on-time and set up and explained our internet equipment in less than an hour. In a very short time he had our new router, two laptops, and two printers humming and mutually interfacing beautifully. Aaron was also very neat and precise in doing the job. We have had a number of internet and computer technicians in our home in New York before, but nobody was nearly as efficient and skilled in getting everything working. Aaron also was very clear in explaining how everything worked, including the various protocols of the system such as domain name, etc. In the nine months since Aaron set up our system, everything has continued to work perfectly without any problems whatsoever. This also has never been our experience before. We could not be more impressed and pleased with the service of Aaron and Partners in Computers. This company will be our only source for this service in the future.

He came here to our home the first time we called, and he then took the computer home with him to do more work on it. It was returned the next day. The second time we called, we took the computer to him, as he was busy with other clients. Again, a very quick fix. We totally trust his expertise and would use him again.

John has worked on our computers twice now. The first time he helped us pick out a new computer and set it up for us after ours crashed and we lost everything! Recently he helped us with problems we were having on our home and laptop computers. John is extremely helpful and capable to get the job done! He has a wonderful ability to communicate to the non-technical person so we can understand! We can't say enough positive things about Partners in Computing - I strongly urge you to call them if you need help, you will be glad you did!
