He walked in and immediately spotted the problem and the cause (a broom had fallen and gotten caught in the cable). He fixed door quickly and the door has worked well ever since. We rearranged the stuff stored in the garage to avoid a repeat of the problem.

Very well. Technician came out in the time period I was told he would be there. Rapidly diagnosed and fixed the problem.

They contacted the tenant and arranged a time to do the work. The installation was well done, and the door has worked well since.

We had provider do a routine maintainable on our garage door and that went fine. A month later the door did operate correctly. We called them to do service and found it very difficult to schedule it. They were not very accommodating to our work schedules though we were being flexible and have lost our business because of it.

The spring on one of my garage doors broke in early December during an unusual week of snow and subfreezing temperatures. I called three companies. Overhead Door was the only company that returned my call. They came out within a couple of days to repair the door; however, because of its age--almost 65 years--and type, it couldn't be repaired. So they would match, I ordered two replacement doors. Installer arrived on time and work was professionally done. I can't comment on price as I did not do any comparison shopping. My only complaint, and the reason for my B overall rating, is that it took a month for the doors to arrive. Overhead Door does not keep a variety of door styles in stock, so the doors had to be ordered from Nebraska. I do not know why it took so long, but assume it was due to seasonal issues such as slow winter production/demand, transportation hindered by bad weather, Christmas holidays.

Great experience from start to finish. Paul was great, very open and knowledgeable. He made it easy for me to chose the right garage doors that matched my needs and budget. Alan was terrific and very helpful with the estimate at my home. Gave great advice and I ended up choosing the traditional hardware he recommend. It looks beautiful. The garage door opener is perfect for my needs and at a great price. Dennis was very professional and a did beautiful, thorough job on the instillation. Great attention to detail which I appreciate greatly. I have a low garage ceiling and Dennis did a great job with installing the new garage door opener. It all runs so smooth and looks great. He also made sure that everything was clean and took his time with showing and teaching me about the doors, warranties, opener, etc. All three men were wonderful to work with. Very nice, professional, friendly, honest and knowledgeable. Thank you, the doors are beautiful and my house looks amazing with them. I'm very happy and I finally have a garage door opener and insulated doors!!

He was very polite and prompt and got things working quickly. Seemed a bit spendy but we needed help quickly and they were there. I phoned 5 companies, left messages with all (day after Thanksgiving) Overheard Door was the first to respond. 3 companies never returned my call. We are grateful they helped us out!!

I got an excellent product from them. The technician was such a great guy and was extremely knowledgable. He was calm, polite and efficient. Their prices are very comparable and they were able to schedule me in a timely manner. They are my go to for any issues pertaining to my garage. I recommend them to everyone in my neighborhood.

In addition to that, and for no additional charge, he offered some other quick fix ups with the other garage door, and made an adjustment to the garage door opener itself.

The entire experience was very positive. We were clearly informed of costs, dates, time of service. Someone offered to come to the house to help us manually open the door so we could get our car out right away. I would recommend Overhead Door without reservation. They know their craft and they have excellent customer service.

The technician arrived with the new openers, installed them, and left. I later learned that I had been charged the same price as if no openers were present at all. This meant that there was much less work to be done, such as mountings to the ceiling and door were already in place, as was the wiring for the opener switch, safety lights on either side of the door, etc. And the technician did not leave any of the components that were not used that I had paid for, such as the switches, mountings hardware to the door, remotes, etc. I questioned Overhead Door about this and was told the price is the same whether it is a new install or replacement,. I got nowhere asking them about the missing components. I finally contacted the corporate office and they agreed that I should have the missing hardware and electrical components, and sent them to me. As a result of their pricing policy, failure to provide me with what I had paid for, and their attitude about the project when I tried to talk with them about it, I will never use them again.

The installer did a great job - I thought I'd have to replace the whole door. It works like brand new now. I'm very pleased.

They did a great job, I actually backed up into my old one, so I used them. They came when they said they would and they were quick.

From start to finish, this was a pleasant experience. Both the estimator and installer arrived exactly as scheduled and the work was completed in the estimated amount of time. The door and opener work flawlessly and everyone involved was courteous to deal with.

They were prompt with almost same day service. They had everything in stock. It was up within two days of calling them. The price was very reasonable. I was very happy.

They explained everything very thoroughly with me when they finished. They told me how to service the door to lengthen the time between calls. They were really quick to reach out to me during the recent snow storm to reschedule the appointment.

The estimate was less than they said it was going to be. They got everything working well.

I looked them up on Angie's List from my cell phone. Called and in 1 ring a nice front deck gale answered the phone. Within an hour a nice fellow arrived and immediately got to work on a small but serious problem we were having with a garage door. Within an hour the door was back to normal and the stress was completely off my shoulders.

2010: Once they arrived I feel it went great! 2015: They gave me and appointment window on the scheduled day of 11-4 and told me the night before I would get a call telling me the two hour window he would arrive. I did not get the call. By 12:30 pm the appointment day, I called the company and asked if I could get an idea of when he would be there (I had errands to run and wished I knew I could have already done them) and they told me he would be there at 1pm. He showed up at 12:50 without a warning call (I was buried in bushes I was trimming and was cleaning up). He was very fast and polite and fixed my issues, I thought. He adjusted some things and lubed up the joints. After he left, my door would not close. Luckily I tried adjusting the sensitivity (he had adjusted it too) and it fixed the problem. Maybe he's just a little too fast?? The chain started squeaking again the same evening. I'll call if things persist.

The representative that came was prompt and professional. He also installed a new auto door opener for us. I would use this company again and would refer them to a friend.
