 + 1 moreHe's great. He is reliable. He is like an All-arounder. He is my go to guy. He is very honest and really nice. He gets the work done quickly and when I need it done he shows up and does it. If there is something he can't do he is really good about helping me find someone who can do it. He is not a licensed electrician and we did have one thing that needed an electrician in, so he sort of arranged all that for me so I didn't have to do it.
Description of Work: I use Mark Gianforti Construction for all kinds of things with my house, like patching wholes from the ceiling, deck work, and really everything. Last month he patched a whole in a wall and he repainted it.

 + 1 moreMark met with us at the house and discussed the types of fencing he could build. Once we agreed on the plans, he told us how much it would cost (accurately) and then began. He did the job very quickly, cleaned up the job fully and built the fence extremely well. He was great to work with and accommodated all our requests--including a quirky design for the access door. I would (and have already!) use Mark again. He is professional, efficient, detail oriented and great to work with.
Description of Work: Mark built a wooden slat fence around the bottom of our house (the house is on stilts) to contain the space and provide a more aesthetically pleasing view.

handyman service, skylights
 + 0 moreMark was great -- he knows his stuff. He worked quickly and efficiently, and is always a professional. He did indeed cut a big hole in our roof, but the tunnel was installed perfectly. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to do this!
Description of Work: Mark installed a sun tunnel/sun tube in our kitchen ceiling to bring more light into our kitchen. They say you can install those yourself, but we didn't want to cut a giant hole in our roof ourselves! Mark was the only person we trusted to do that.

 + 0 moreGot bids from different people, Mark's was by far the lowest and other people wouldn't even bid on it because they did not want the job. He took care of the work I needed to get done quickly right away, then we waited for the ground to dry out to put in the drainage system. Then he did a great job fixing the drainage so I don't have to worry about it any more. He is very nice to work with -- prompt, courteous, and gets things done quickly. I'm not sure that he wants to do work like this forever-- I would trust him to do any sort of construction work, as he is extremely knowledgeable. I would definitely hire him again. He's great. It was a little less than his estimate.
Description of Work: Mark did a great job installing a French drain, sump pump, and dry well all around my house. When I moved in the drainage system was nonexistent, and the posts under the house were rotting from the water puddled under the house. Mark crawled under the house and replaced them when no one else would.
