+ 0 moreWe interviewed 3 other contractors and finally found Kent through a friend. We had quite an elaborate design and everything came out exactly as we expected. The project involved 4 other sub contractors and they were all great. We ended up hiring Kent for extra stuff including one small thing he didn't even charge us for. Everything was done with attention to details, and high quality, at a very fair price. He was honest, fair and prompt, and I strongly recommend him.

+ -1 moreRestored roof damage, interior damage including large structural beam. Kent was amazing to work with. He was honest, fair and prompt. Kent's team did excellent work restoring unexpected tree damage that was fairly significant. Kent went out of his way to locate an "heirloom" structural beam of similar vintage to the 1955 modern home. The replacement beam was the crown-jewel of the project, as anything less than a beam that perfectly matched the house would have ruined the restoration. I unreservedly recommend KLS Construction.

Spent days of extra time in helping us with things like "color" | |KLS made a $7000 bidding error and did not mention it the motto is his bid is firm- I discovered it on my own Kent Smith would never have brought it up | |He is a man you really don't need a contract with. Come up with a plan go over him with what you want. You actually could shake his hand and consider it done. | |I could not be happier

Description of Work: We had a large deck removed and re-built. We used pressure treated lumber and felt the cost between cedar and pressure treated lumber was way out of line. We had to call them back after an employee did a poor job on a door entrance under the deck. Kent came and re-built the door. After a couple years of use the pressure treated deck boards in certain areas started to warp so bad it was pulling the nails (Not Screws) out. I contacted Kent and told him the problem and he said. " We should have paid the extra money and used Cedar to avoid this" Nothing was ever said to us about this problem prior.

+ 0 moreWe didn’t actually do the work but he seemed nice, friendly, and professional when he came out. The price was higher than I expected but it didn’t seem outrageous; I got some other bids that were lower. He came out right away when I called so that was excellent.
Description of Work: KLS Construction gave me a bid for a pool deck. We wanted them to excavate our concrete pool deck then repour it.
