Made very inappropriate comments about the people whose homes they cleaned…referred to certain clients sexual preferences, shared personal information, made derogatory statements about the habits of clients (went through personal things at times). They charged a flat rate for several hours when it was merely an hour they stayed to clean.

They come in as a team and get right to work. They're fast, but thorough, and when I came home it felt like the housekeeping fairies had dropped by. I have pets, which adds to the work, but my house shines when they're done.

I was referred to Kastlekeepers by another house cleaning service I found here on Angie's List whose prices were way too high. I was able to contact Kastlekeepers quickly and arranged a walk-through to get an estimate for a move-out cleaning. I found the walk-through experience to be quite strange. The woman who did the estimate kept saying that the apartment was and quot;extremely filthyand quot; and and quot;very dirtyand quot; (it was not, in fact, as bad as she was saying). She quoted a price of $200 for a 2-bedroom townhouse; she said and quot;it'll look good, and it'll smell good, but it won't BE good,and quot; though she was unable to clarify what exactly that meant. I was not present when the cleaning was performed, but I was later told by the property manager that the cleaners arrived late in the day--at 6 PM! This seemed very strange to me. When I came into the apartment after the cleaning was done, it had been done satisfactorily for the most part, though the baseboards had not been wiped down at all, the top of the refrigerator was still dusty, and there were edges of various kitchen appliances that were still grimy. I do not feel that, for the price I paid, the quality was up to par, particularly since the property manager told me that they use a service that will do a and quot;deep cleaningand quot; for less. Next time around I will use a different service.

Great at calling me back, but we couldn't agree on a price.

I have been using KastleKeepers for five years. I hired them when my father-in-law moved in with us to clean the kitchen, bathroom, and dust. Debbra showed up, did a walk threw with me, and took notes on what I wanted done specifically. She worked our house into her schedule in about a week. She cleans the house every other Monday and has not missed a bi-weekly appointment in five years. If are cleaning day falls on a holiday she calls at least two weeks out to reschedule. Our house was clean when she started, but with bi-weekly cleaning she has improved the cleanliness in the tile shower,and the toilet, for example. Twice a year she takes down and wipes down about 50 tea pots and 50 collectable cans that my wife has displayed on top of the kitchen cabinets. This is done outside the bi-weekly cleaning and is always requested by me or suggested by her that they are in need of a good cleaning. The work gets done within a week or two. I do have special cleaning request, extra cleaning, which is outside are agreement, but falls within my time slot, it gets done at no extra charge. She always returns my calls the same day. She was referred by my neighbor. They do a great job at a fair price!

Although the price was higher than we'd been paying, KastleKeepers have been very professional and thorough. They have never missed a day in our 4 months or so of employing them and we are quite satisfied with them and their work.

They are very nice people, but I think they are bit expensive. It is $90 for two people for one hour. They are very trustworthy and nice people.

The work is pretty much average. The price is beyond average for what you get. I can't get a firm date for them to come on a monthly basis, so every month I get a call telling me what the date they've scheduled is, and then, not unlike cable or telephone, they won't guarantee me a time. Since I'm not enamored with the idea of being here, I have to plan to be away for up to 4 hours, even though they only spend, maybe, an hour and a half cleaning my house. I know this because I sat down the street and watched to see when they arrived and when they left. All this being said, their work is no better or worse than most, it's just nearly twice what I'm used to paying. And I'm getting the "senior rate." So, caveat emptor.

My house has been cleaned by this company for over 15 years. I have never thought of looking for anyone else because they are so reliable and flexible. The work is always thorough no matter who cleans my house, although it is typically the same person for several years at a time.
