JOLLY GOOD CHIMNEY SWEEP

I was able to schedule the visit for just a couple of days after the initial call. Due to icy conditions, David called later to reschedule the time for later in the morning so that he would be safe on the roof. I appreciated his foresight. I would not have wanted to have him slip up there. He arrived at exactly the rescheduled time and was courteous and friendly in his tall black hat. He worked efficiently at the job and finished when he said he would. The cost was comparable to other service providers. I would use him again

David was very prompt (in fact, even a little bit early). He inspected the chimney and found that it didn't need any significant cleaning, so he charged me less than what was quoted over the phone ($135 was the quoted price). He was done very quickly and spent several minutes at the end of the appointment telling me about my fireplace, how to use it to prevent any problems, and how often it needed to be swept. I would recommend him without reservation! P.S. He wears a top hat.

The Jolly Good Chimney Sweep, David Bull, showed up on time and was professional in his demeanor and work. The cleaning was thorough, as was the cleanup afterward. We would not hesitate to call him next time we need the chimney swept. Nor would we hesitate to recommend him.

Getting the chimney cleaned is one of those necessary projects that needs to be done for safety reasons, but that can get put off or forgotten. I made only one short evening phone call to Jolly Good Chimney Sweep, left a brief message and that was it. They took it from there. They called back quickly and were flexible in arranging a time to do the work. They arrived promptly, were professional and I felt confident that the job was done right. The price was the same as what they had quoted me.
