Huey & Sons Roofing

We could not be happier with Huey and Sons. Chris Huey was knowledgeable, listened to all of our concerns and addressed all issues on our project. Roofing materials were delivered on schedule and placed in proper positions for the roofing crew, within one hour. The following morning, the roofing crew arrived at 7:30 in the morning. They stripped the existing roofing material off house and shed, worked quickly and efficiently and completed the project by 5:00 that afternoon, including cleanup of grounds around the house. Good job! Thank you to all involved.

The entire experience was great. The contractor showed up when he said he would and completed the job in one day. Mother nature helped assess the work by raining really hard the next day. There were no links. I am very happy with the contractor.

Aside from the positive on line reviews the main reason, I selected Huey & Sons roofing was the highly knowledgeable and helpful office staff.

On time was told job may take 2- 2 ½ days was completed in 1 & ½ days. Nice workers cleaned up well when the job was completed.

Completed roof in one day, great cleanup. Did everything like they said they were going to do.

Also had these guys out last March to roof my other shop and garage. Did a great job and they fit it into the schedule when I needed it done as I was on a very tight "move in" timeline. The crew arrived on time, it was a day that sprinkled off and on, then rained some. The crew was fast and efficient, if they got caught in the rain, they covered everything fast, and things stayed as dry as possible. (And they did stay dry.) When they were working and found more boards that were bad, they let us know before removing them, we can not say enough of the professional attitude, and knowledgeability for they explained anything thing we had a question about. After the roof was finished they cleaned up everything, and you wouldn't even know they had been there! We found one nail from the old roof in a planter, that is all.. We don't have a small roof, it also has a nice pitch to it, so it is no easy task. We would hire these guys in a minute again, if we needed another roof.

Fair price for a quality job. Provided a prompt estimate & completed full job within 2 days. Crew was very hard working. Left yard spotless with no debris left behind. Excellent job for a senior's discounted price.

Things went well, they did what they said they would do, we are really happy with the roofing service they provided.

About five days before I was leaving for Thanksgiving I found I had a leak in my roof. I checked Angie's list and read reviews of roofers who had worked in my area. I decided to use Huey and Sons Roofing . They were very good to work with - receptionist very nice and helpful in answering some questions I had. They came out and gave me an estimate and a time-line for installing the roof. Decided to go ahead with them and I am happy I did. It took a day and a half , as they said it would, because of having to tear-off the old shingles. What a mess that was! but at the end of the day all was perfectly cleaned up.

Three more new leaks. Have had others repaired. Leaks are always associated with flashings.

Huey & Sons Roofing was fantastic to work with. The first time I called they made the appointment for an estimate. The price was good. The job was completed in one day. They left the area around my home immaculate, absolutely no sign of all the work they had done except for a great new roof. I highly recommend Huey & Sons!

The work was done efficiently in a single day, including removal of the old roofing and cleanup. .Several sheets of plywood had to be replaced and the charge for this was reasonable. I was very pleased with the work and the service. The only problem was a delay of some weeks due to the weather, but this was not the provider's fault -- they came as soon as possible.

The first admission had the price as bad but that was an error. The price seemed more then fair. The agent took the old fan to the recycling.

Estimator made a appointment and was prompt, explained whole process and listed options. Installers were on time, kindly answered questions, and were hard working and thorough. Good experience start to finish.

Huey & Sons was great to work with, from the time Mr. Huey came to our house to provide an estimate to the final cleanup after the roof was installed. His estimate wasn't the cheapest, but it was close; we chose the company because of Mr. Huey's sincerity and professionalism. We obtained estimates from three roofing companies, and we liked Mr. Huey the most. The company's office manager, Tammy, was also super friendly and responsive to all our questions, and all calls were returned promptly. The roofers themselves were courteous, professional, and fast, and they cleaned up afterward. I would recommend the company to our friends, without question. As an added bonus, the local supplier of the roofing materials Huey & Sons uses, Roofline Supply & Delivery, spoke highly of Huey & Sons when I went there to look at roof shingle color samples (Mr. Huey provided us with brochures of the colors, but seeing the real shingles was great).

They were on time, friendly, hard working. Good job, cleaned up everything beautifully, before they left. Thumbs up.

Roofers arrived right on time, worked hard all day long. Almost all of the roof was completed in the same day. Only a couple of hours needed the next day. Completely cleaned up before leaving.

When i received there bid they said they were about a week out. So i called them to schedule my roof and they were able to come out about a week later and do the work.They came out, removed my old roof, and installed a new laminated roof. They cleaned up, finished the roof in one day. Everything looks good.

They arrived at 7:30 am in the morning to begin work. They proceeded to remove our old roof and throw into a dump truck. They discovered some dry rotted plywood on the back side of our home, and replaced all the bad wood that they found. We were glad to get the dry rotted wood replaced, we were not aware that we had dry rot, until there foreman pointed it out to us. Then they put down the felt underlayment. Then the crew took a lunch break, after lunch they installed the roofing materials in the color we had chosen. They finished up in one day. After the roof was installed they cleaned up the grounds extremely well as they had promised. Other than the new roof, there was no sign that anyone had been working on the grounds at all. Over all we were really pleased with the job they did. The roof looks great.

Thoroughly impressed. Professional, punctual and competitively priced. Highly recommend.

Although obviously I won't be using this company, I was pleased with how they responded and the helpful suggestions.

Huey came to Harrisburg to look at my rental. what we wanted was a repair, after he found out we did not want the house roofed He walked away,got in his pickup and drove away,not saying anything. He was very unprofessional
