I got so lucky with this contractor. He was right on time , knew his stuff, was very professional, Very fair when billing me, He wore shoe covers every time he came in, even when I told him he didn't need to. He drove up in his Van, Had all the parts he needed with him to rebuild under my toilet. I didn't know who to call, As soon as I signed up on Angies list,,, And I read all customer reviews, I made the one call to Hegarty Plumbing and everything was fixed SO,, I give Major credit to both,,,, my new plumber, cause I will call him for everything, in the future, AND, Angies list. It saved me so much time and money I wish I would have became a member years ago.. Just finding this one excellent contractor, paid for the angies list fee, 50 times over for me. Called based on Angie's List recommendations in plumbing/drain cleaning. Says he doesn't do drain cleaning.

One emailed me back and that was good but he actually answered. He actually returns his phone calls. He was very nice, came out and took care of it. He was a person and not a Robert. He also found a broken pipe and fixed it for me. His price was reasonable.

Robert gave me great advice regarding the best ways to accomplish what I wanted at the most reasonable cost. He was flexible when unanticipated challenges arose and is as frugal as I am.

Amazed at how quickly and efficiently the work was done. Went right to work, kept on task until the work was done. We discussed repair options and appreciated that he was open to my input and honest about some of the potential issues that he could run into. All work areas were left clean and dry!

He is very good. I really felt the guy was wonderful. He got me the deal we wanted and he had reasonable prices and was able to get there quickly. I have used him several times. The best is far as I am concerned I would call him again. He is terrific. Excellent quality.

This is the 2nd job I have had Robert do. He is prompt and businesslike and does not spend your money standing around and chit chatting. He is neat, on time and pleasant.. He was supposed to install 5 sinks but due to a major error by the granite counter people, he will need to come back. He took this all in stride with a sense of humor about it.

He was not only on time but came a few minutes early. Had the part with him and handled the job quickly and. It was done at my mother's house and he gave her a senior discount. We have already referred him to another with the same problem.

Robert is fast prompt and does a great job. He is very contentious about keeping the area clean. His bill was less than his quote which was a nice surprise. He is a very nice guy, I will use him again if I need a plumber.

He altered his work schedule to fix our leak. He was very prompt and efficient. Came when he said he would. Called when he was on his way.

Robert called to let me know he was running early and would it be okay if he showed up 15 minutes earlier than scheduled. (Yes!) He arrived and got right to work. He was friendly, professional and explained what he was doing and why. Robert made sure he put on protective boot coverings before entering the house to work on the kitchen sink. He left the house and garage very clean. He was worth every dollar and I would not hesitate to use him again.

He has always been prompt, calling first most of the time. We've had a variety of problems, some of which another plumber couldn't fix. He has been very knowledgeable about what could and could not be done. If the "fix" wasn't up to his/our standards, he came back and redid it. He worked quickly, yet took the time to explain what was being done. He had to come a couple of times to fix a Grohe faucet because the cartridge was crumbling and we had to get another one from the company. He fixed a tub drain without having to get new parts. Our (old) shower was almost impossible to turn off and on, so he was able to find the necessary parts to fix it. It still was difficult to operate, so he found another part (no longer made, by the way), changed it out, and now it works as it should. He also installed a couple of bathroom sink faucets. And during his several visits, he answered several plumbing questions we had......he is definitely our "plumber of choice" from here on out.

He was able to removed a section of drywall in order to identify the problem, and gave me a recommendation for a handyman to replace the drywall. He also found cracks in my tub faucet which were making the handle hard to turn, and replaced the faucet. He did all this quickly and thoroughly, and was very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend him!

Was difficult due to rust on old unit, but did a great job!

Installed water hookup for my new fridge by putting a line through the cabinets. On time, professional, reasonable price for labor and parts. Gave me a choice of what parts to use and prices of parts which was appreciated. Would use again. Also, I liked that I was able to get an appointment just a few days after I made the call.

Mr. Hegarty was prompt. His demeanor was polite, courteous and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem and promptly fixed it. I highly recommend Mr. Hegarty to anyone who wants a professional plumber who is kind and courteous and a man of Faith.

Mr. Hegarty showed up when he said he would (twice), skillfully solved my problems, and then charged half of what I expected to pay. It is customer service of a type that seems to have largely disappeared.

I thought I had a water heater problem, but over the phone Robert was able to diagnose that it was in fact a bad cartridge in the shower water control. While he was there I had him check a couple of other minor things too which he took care of. He arrived within hours of calling him - on time. He was able to fit me in his schedule. Great work, great guy. Highly recommend.

I left a message during this nasty icy snow storm. He called me back within hours. Diagnosed and fixed my problem over the phone. I will definitely be calling him back with any other plumbing issues.
