Description of Work: I have hired Robert on a number of occasions to due plumbing-related work for me. I never cease to be amazed at how good he is. I recently called him to see if he could advise me about the ability to install a washer/dryer in my garage. Although he was out of town, he immediately called me back and set up an appointment. At the appointment he gave me excellent advice and didn't charge me a cent. Robert has installed toilets for me, fixed main water lines, and various other plumbing tasks. He always responds within 24 hours and typically sets up an appointment within 2-3 days. He is punctual, professional and very knowledgeable. I have recommended him to many people. Whenever I have a plumbing problem, he is the first person I contact. I very highly recommend him!

Description of Work: You indicated that this person would service my area he does not. Also you send out way to many emails. I thought you would be providing me a service not wasting my time answering or deleting unwanted emails.

Description of Work: Our water heater was making really hot water then shutting itself off. With a few google searches we diagnosed the problem as a broken thermostat or two. We contacted Hegarty plumbing on a Friday and he was able to come out the following Tuesday morning. Robert came right on time and got straight to work. He replaced the two thermostats on our water heater, fixing the problem within 30 minutes of his arrival.

Description of Work: Fixed clogged sink in bathroom. It now works better than ever before.

Description of Work: I was having problems with both my dishwasher and left side of the sink (with the garbage disposal) not draining properly. Robert discovered that the plumbing was "old school" and reworked the lines that went to/from sink and dishwasher. Two days later I realized that the lines were leaking and called him back. He was out the next day and tightened the fittings, and all was well.

Description of Work: Was my first choice to replace my gas water heater, although he let me know that he wouldn't be able to perform this service at the moment. He was very informative on the phone, polite and let me know what options there might be for me out there. Hegarty will definitely be my first call in future for any other plumbing issues.

Description of Work: Replaced very corroded bolt in toilet tank that was causing leaking and replaced part in faucet. No problems with either fixture since the repairs were completed.

Description of Work: I called Hegarty because of their rating on Angie's List. The plumber arrived on time and his first task was replacement of a wax ring for a toilet. No problem there. Second task was to redo a water line under the house which had been done improperly some time by a previous owner, resulting in weak pressure. The Hegarty plumber fixed this again with no problem

Description of Work: Replaced a hot water heater. He was knowledgeable, fast and efficient. Very nice man.

Description of Work: My pressure reducer valve blew out on a Thursday -- Hegarty was able to fit me in on Friday morning. He was punctual, work was excellent. Would have been a long weekend without water otherwise.
