Went great, Joseph was very friendly and not only did the work we agreed on in the estimate, but helped us as new homeowners to understand things about plumbing I never would have known about.

Robert looked at the problem and gave us a couple of options. He spent approx 11/2 hours implementing one of the options. He did a great job and we were please with the results and the cost. I would definitely recommend him and use his services again.

He was great. He first attempted to correct the problem without breaking through the wall. That did not work, so he broke into the wall to correct the angle. Our house is a 1920's oldie and we were nervous about the pipes. He gave us all the information we needed to make informed decisions. The amazing thing is that he only charged us for the time he spent on the final fix. I highly recommend him.

It went very well. He had to work in a rather tight space behing the heat pump but he located the leak very quickly and repaired it.

He showed up on time for our appointment, after first calling to say he was on his way......he was neat and clean in appearance.....did the work quickly and efficiently, was knowledgable and very pleasant to have in our home. He will have our business the next time we need a plumber!

Robert was able to diagnose the problem over the phone. (The pipe connector from the spigot ruptured during the last deep freeze.) He came out quickly and replaced the part. When I thought there was a problem after the fact, he came back quickly the next day. (It turns out that nothing was wrong.) Highly recommended.

Robert was very informative and patient. We were curious about all of the projects, and Robert didn't seem to mind us watching what he was doing and answering our questions. He charged by the hour and worked quickly to get in as much service as he could for us as quickly as possible. He checked a leaky garbage disposal, inspected our crawl space for signs of leaks, removed a toilet to check the seal, inspected some noisy water pipes, and fixed the hot/cold water balancer (?) in our second bathroom. He did all of this in a little less than an hour and a half. We would recommend him to anyone.

I was unable to completely shut off the water stream on the outdoor faucet of my 38 year old home. I called Robert Hegarty on Monday 02/01/2010. He came out the next day and replaced the washer in the faucet and cleaned out some debris in the faucet apparatus as well. He completed the repair in approximately 30 minutes. He is very efficient and personable.

Robert did a nice job working on our toilet issues and helped explain the problems and how we can make minor fixes in the future. He did a nice job replacing the drain on our kitchen sink and worked very diligently. He was very good at explaining everything.

Robert came at the agreed time, worked neatly and briskly until the job was finished, cleaned up after himself and left the faucet not leaking for the first time in over 3 years. I wasn't aware that it would be possible to have a "real plumber" do a repair for less than $100, so I am very pleased with the entire experience.

He was prompt, polite, didn't mess around but got right to work and in a matter of minutes we were back in business. He also noticed that our air switch needed adjustment and did that too. He checked one toilet that hadn't been flushing properly, adjusted the water flow for us.

On two occasions in the last 8 years our hot water heater's pilot light has gone out, and the best reason I can come up with is that during extremely windy weather a gust hits the roof exhaust in just the right spot and blows it out. The last time it happened I got it started again without any problem, but today after about 15 minutes and maybe 10 long-stemmed matches I gave up and called Robert. Choosing him was a no-brainer since I've never seen a company on Angie's List with so many reviews (much less positive reviews). I got him on his cell around noon and he told me he could probably squeeze me in later in the afternoon. He ended up rescheduling another appointment and was at my house maybe 30 minutes later, which I found to be insanely fast. We headed down underneath the house and in less than 10 minutes I was happy to find that the problem was indeed just me being dumb and not understanding the relighting process. We blew it out and I had a quick practice session to make sure I understood exactly what I was doing for the next time it happened and easily got it relight under his watchful eye. Despite this being such an absurdly simple issue, I was still very impressed with Robert's responsiveness and professionalism. We've been toying with the idea of adding a sink to our laundry room and if we do I have no doubts about who I'll be calling to do it.

He responded quickly to my phone call and was also able to come over quickly. He showed me and explained what was wrong and what he would do. He was professional and pleasant and I would hire him again.

Robert responded quickly to my call, was very professional (even wore booties to protect the floor although it was dry outside), and fixed the problem in short order. He also showed me how I could fix the same problem myself in the future by using two plungers at the same time.

Everything was done expertly and quickly. I asked him for ideas on future work to be done which I will definitely have him do.

Water heater died an ugly death. Called Robert (based on the feedback here) and he was out in just a couple of hours. He told me he had never seen an (old) installation quite like what we had, and that it could present a real challenge. However, after finding a great solution he had it all accomplished in no time at all. We were barely inconvenienced by this episode, thanks to Robert.

Fixed the pipe and noticed a heat duct that was damaged and fixed it as well.

Great! Came same day, arrived when he said he would, worked quickly, provided information and advice, clear statement of charges. Nice person!
