Was able to come sooner than expected. Completed work efficiently. Friendly and helpful manner. Asked if there was any other plumbing work he could take care of while he was there since he charges by the hour and there was time left over. He went ahead and took care of a second drain that needed cleaning out. I really appreciated his offering to do this.

The bolt removal was very difficult, with the possibility of breaking the toilet bowl. No one in my family had been able to get them off. Mr. Hegarty had the right equipment, and with some struggle, was able to remove the bolts and provide the correct items to secure the toilet. He is prompt, efficient, tidy, professional and very ethical. I highly recommend him.

Mr Hegarty arrived on time and worked very efficiently. He offered a solution to part of the work I had requested which cost me much less in the end than I had anticipated. I appreciated his honesty and professionalism.

We have used Robert's services in the past, and when Lowe's quoted us $280 for the plumber we said no no. We knew that Robert was the best in town, and would do the work perfectly at a much better price. And he did it for less than half of the Lowe's price. He is prompt, friendly, very hardworking, answers all your questions, and is the consummate professional. Oh, and he called ahead to see if we needed sink strainers, and brought some with him. If Angi's List awarded a service of the year, Robert should be the guy.

I called for a quote after reading positive reviews here. He came out within a day or two and spoke with me for quite a while about my job. He was very conscientious about checking to make sure he could do the work I asked for, and even advised me about the part of the project I was tackling. It ended up making more sense to pay time and materials. I felt very comfortable agreeing to that. The work happened a couple weeks later, in conjunction with a natural gas conversion done by another contractor. Very professional with the gas guys. Neat, clean work. Level and plumb exposed piping. He even smoothed the solder and glue lines. No leaks, no hammering. Very easy to work with. I will be calling him every time I have a plumbing project I don't have the time or skills to tackle.

I did not think he was going to get it out then he came with it in his hand . we were both pretty happy. He had to go out to his truck a lot and each time he put on his little booties over his boots.

Mr. Hegarty returned our call asking for a quote on the same day we had left him a message, always a good sign. He arrived promptly as scheduled and set to work right away. He finished the job quickly and efficiently, being extremely careful not to track anything through the house. We had also asked him to repair or replace a shut-off valve that we were unable to turn, but he had a tool that could give more torque and the valve worked fine after that. He showed us the tool and told us where he had purchased it (not at all expensive). He didn't charge us for unsticking the valve. He tried to save us a little bit of money by using a less expensive tank assembly, but because that toilet is relatively old, it didn't fit properly and began to leak again. When we called him, he promptly came out and replaced the assembly with the more expensive one at no charge to us. He is personable, professional, prompt, and a pleasure to deal with. I would hire him again without hesitation.

I learned quite a bit from watching Robert, although I'm not ready to soidler yet! I did assist a bit, water heaters aren't exactly a one person task. I had the hand dolly. Overall, the experience went smoothly, no hiccups.

I left a message on his cell phone. He called me back fairly quickly and was able to schedule me in a few hours. He showed up ahead of schedule. I explained the problem, he diagnosed it and went right to work. In a bout an hour, he had cleaned up and was done...wrote me an invoice which I felt was fair.

Robert first came out to check out what we had done and offered us advice about what to do about the non-standard rouch-in no charge (we expected to pay for his advice since we weren't planning to have him do the work at that time). Later we decided to have Robert complete the installation. He was professional, on time, efficient, knowledgeable, and very nice. It turned out the toilet we bought was defective. He made 2 visits for free to make sure it wasn't a problem with his installation. Eventually the the tank was replaced and he came and removed and repacked the old tank and installed the new tank provided by Toto. He was very helpful throughout. It has been almost a year now and everything is fine. I would definitely use him again. In fact, we just called him to fix leaks in our kitchen sink drain and will be seeing him tomorrow. That reminded me that I hadn't posted a report for the first time we used him. He's a treasure.

This was the third time we have used him because he is punctual and professional. He comes in and does his job, he doesn?t pad the bill, and he doesn?t try to drum up anything extra while he?s here. He was new in town a few years ago and we have recommended him to everyone we know. He didn?t even charge us a service call to come out when he didn?t have the part.

Great. Robert returned calls promptly, even over the weekend. Offered to come and do the job late on Sat afternoon, outside of his posted availability. We worked out a time to fit my work schedule the following Monday. He was early, neat quick,helpful professional and personable. I would hire him again, hands down.

Mr. Hegarty came to look at a toilet that kept overflowing -- ran a snake and found that there was blockage in the toilet itself. After giving me likely scenarios and options, I decided to have him install a new toilet. He suggested I buy the toilet myself, and his advice on what to shop for was very helpful. He installed the toilet two days later, and disposed of the original fixtures. The work was exceptionally good.

was early for appointment, very friendly, very energetic and hard working, took extra precautions to avoid tracking dirt into house (wore removable cloth booties and put down drop cloths), knowledgeable and professional. No travel charges, 10% senior discount (also has "Angie's discount for non-seniors), made several cost saving suggestios. Made an "extra effort" to locate and reinstall a frost free hose bib (first unit was acceptable but not a perfect fit). Every contractor contact should go as well - I'd reccomend him to any and all.

Plumbing is always vexing when you have to deal with it. When I called and explained my problem, Hegarty came right away He was very professional and friendly, and did a great job repairing some troublesome plumbing. Highly recommended.

The service provider was extremely prompt -- a lucky coincidence, he told me. But still. Diagnosed the cause of the leak and fixed it within half an hour. Dry as a bone now.

Job went well with Roberts excellent attitude and experienced skill set. On time and under budget - so a solid solution for challenging assignment. Will use next project coming up.
