If you are wondering if integrity and honor were old fashioned concepts, not with this company. I will use him for any plumbing issues in the future and recommend him to anyone.

Description of Work: Mr. Hegarty promptly returned my call and I explained our toilet is over 50 years old, so wasn't sure if I wanted the innards fixed or a new toilet installed. He explained options, price, and we scheduled his appointment. He arrived a bit early, which was fine, put on his booties, checked out the fixture, and again offered a choice of fix or replace. I had already bought new toilet, wax ring, and bolts. He quickly, efficiently, single-handedly removed the old and installed the new. Coincidentally, the sink stopper had broken this morning. He took that apart, found a broken piece way down the pipe, and repaired it. Our total price was less than he had quoted originally. He was cordial, quick, and expert. I would hire him again without hesitation! Total price was $91.50 after he gave us a 10% Angie's discount.

Description of Work: No hot water. I call Robert and asked if he could come out and look. He rearranged his schedule and came right out. Turns out the reason we had no hot water was that the new bathtub I installed, not Robert, wasn't complete. He diagnosed the problem and quickly corrected my mistake - presto hot water everywhere!

Description of Work: I had broken pip in my pump house. Mr. Hegarty was very accommodating due to my very tight schedule. He came in on Saturday morning and fixed my problem. I am very happy with his service and will use his service again in the future. This is my fourth try to send my report in the last two months. Hope it will work.

Description of Work: This plumber did a great job, very nice to work with. he was right on time and got straight to work. We would use him again. He had to replace bathroom fictures and leaks under our vanity faucets. Made sure we were in good shape after finding problems.

Description of Work: I was in the middle of a "do-it-yourself" fix the drip in the bath tub drip,when the project turned horribly wrong. I now required a professional plumber to fix a tub spout that the set screw had put deep grooves into the cooper pipe as it was removed. I called Hegarty and he said he could be at my house first thing in the morning. He heard my sigh and hesitation and just as I was going to say "okay", he offered up to make arrangements in his schedule and would call me right back. He phoned me 2 minutes later and said he'd be right over. He replaced the copper pipe and put back together my "work of art". I now had a fully functioning shower/tub ! I was also impressed with his cleaniness,each time he had to go in or out of my home, he would use shoe coverings as to not track in any dirt or mud from the outdoors. This was my second experience with Hegarty and my first experience was just as positive as this one. I will use Hegarty for any future plumbing needs.

Description of Work: Two outdoor faucets were not working at all. Robert came to view, understand the problem and give me an estimate right away. He fixed one faucet that day b/c it was an easy fix. The other faucet required creating access through the garage ceiling (it's a basement, in-ground garage) because the original installation was poor and unusual. Robert cut a very small opening in the garage ceiling to ascertain what was needed. Totally reasonable and really quick and clean!!! He returned to finish the job and now that faucet (that emerges through the house basement foundation) works well too. We were absolutely delighted in his professionalism, responsiveness, and work! We will definitely hire him again when we begin our kitchen remodel!!!! AAAAA++++++

Description of Work: Robert figured out the problem and put in a new dishwasher hose.

Description of Work: The plumber installed a new outdoor faucet after my parents broke one trying to do it themselves. He arrived 15 minutes early, fixed it and then replaced another one in the front of the house. He showed them how it was not surprising that they broke one because the original plumbing was quite shoddy. He spent over two hours, and worked very hard with no breaks.
