When the job was complete it was beautiful!

We had a fantastic experience with Ted from start to finish. He was incredibly professional and friendly (no, these two things are not mutually exclusive). He bid his price and met the price exactly for a huge job that took months to complete. Out of all the prospective bidders, he was the only provider to offer a two-year warranty on labor, and the quality of his work reflects his aggressive warranty. It has been a year and a half since he completed work and we have not had any problems, all 25 of our buildings look just as good as the day he finished. He was incredibly patient with us as we changed our minds about colors and made decisions about what we wanted to do with our fences, and he was courteous and respectful to our tenants who were not always easy to get along with during the process of painting all of the buildings. The only part of the job that did not go exactly as planned was that the work took significantly longer than expected. I understand that this sometimes happens, what's important is that he still met his bid price and quality expectations. Even when unexpected weather caused him to have to redo part of the job he did not ever attempt to pass that cost along to us. I cannot recommend anybody more highly, his prices are competitive and the work is unmatched.

I had talked to Ted a few weeks before closing on the duplex and explained our intention of painting the exterior. I was worried about it being so late in the season and wondered if it could even be accomplished. Ted happily gave us a written estimate which was right in line with the other bid we received and after closing of escrow we discussed the project and he felt that the weather forecast was favorable enough to complete the job. He pressure washed the duplex and sanded some fascia boards and let it dry for about three days. He was right. We had a week of sunny, near 70 degree weather in October and they were able to complete the caulking, prep. work and painting while the weather was cooperating. But here is where they really went the extra mile for us. I called up one afternoon while they were busy painting the exterior and asked if he could bid doing some touch-up work on the inside. He said "no problem" and right away gave me a very reasonable price for not just touch-up, but painting all the walls, trim and some areas of ceiling inside. I explained our tight time frame and said I understood if it couldn't be done but he seemed eager and willing to get right to it. So that very night after it turned dark, he and his helper worked late into the evening prepping the interior. And after just two or three VERY long days they had the inside and outside done. It all looked great! This isn't my primary residence and I would have been OK with just good work, but it was all great. The outside was fabulous...just so dramatic because it was in such bad shape to begin with. Ted is a very positive individual, a good communicator and I would definitely recommend them.
