+ -1 moreI work with a lot of contractors & have to say that Emerald Excavating is primo, has easy to understand billing, has very clear contracts, are great listeners, are super creative when presented with a problem to solve, flexible in terms of suggesting solutions & know excavating like the back of their hand! Watching these employees work with precision to create the base for our rock wall was really cool! This excavating business & their employees need to be CLONED!

Description of Work: We had a hilly region of our property leveled for a fire pit and "play area". Roger was great to work with and the work was done as promised with no surprises as far as extra money or delays. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

+ -1 moreExcellent service. They had an opening 3 weeks earlier than expected and the work was all done in one day. The tiers and the area where they placed the excess dirt look amazing. I couldn't be happier!
Description of Work: I have clay soil and a backyard that slopes down to a pond. An existing walkway surrounds the large pond. Needed the backyard 'tiered' to prevent further settling and sliding of soil. The erosion had made it impossible to mow any longer. Emerald Excavating (Rick) did an excellent job and had everything done in one day. He dug out 2 apprx. 50' tiers and backfilled the upper tier so it was level with my foundation. I couldn't have been happier with the work, the price, and the quality!
