Part of our sloped, curved driveway was heaved up and broken by the roots of a large tree that came down in storm. Seemed like a pretty straightforward job to tear it out and replace, but the four bids we got ranged almost a thousand bucks. I called Concrete Unlimited based on Angie's list reviews. I found the owner Brad to be very communicative and responsive over the phone. Even though his bid wasn't the lowest, it was clear and detailed and I accepted it without having met him in person. The job start was held up for a few days due to heavy rain. Brad wanted to minimize the time we would be inconvenienced, and waited for a the first break in the weather he could tear out and pour in quick succession. When the break came, his guys were on the job. The old section got jackhammered out and hauled away in a couple of hours. The next morning, they came early to set the forms and rebar, and the truck was there and pouring at 9 AM. By 11 they were done. Brad didn't hesitate when I asked for a slightly different treatment of the broom finish, changing it on the spot, and even made a trip back to his shop for extra netting to put around the site when I expressed my concern about all the animals we could get walking through the wet concrete (deer, turkeys, raccoons, cats, etc.). One day later, we were walking on it. A week later, his crew took away the cones and we knew we could drive on it. Looks great! Just what we needed, and at a cost in line with what the insurance company estimated for the work. If and when I need more concrete work, Brad's my first call.

I can't say enough good things. Brad and company gave me a good quote, arrived early and did an excellent job. It really doesn't get much better than this. They will be hired back for my next project this summer.

Did a great job. Here on the job early and was able to complete job sooner than expected. Very friendly and I will be using them again for my shop foundation.

The whole experience was great. Brad and his men arrived as scheduled, were very efficient, did everything they promised. Brad suggested some alterations to our original plan and they all improved the plan. They had the old concrete torn out and hauled away within a couple of days. Put in the forms and rebar for the new concrete just as quickly and efficiently. The concrete was poured over a two day period and they finished it with hand-made swirls and grooves to make a good non-slip surface. After the concrete was set, they came promptly and removed the forms, etc. I couldn't have asked for a better, more efficient, and well-done job.
