Description of Work: Bob, the manager came to my home and made some adjustments on my computer and it ran fine for about three days. Then it started restarting on its own over and over to where it was every 6-10 minutes between restarts. Also, several other issues had cropped up. I took it into their shop and left it for two days. Mike said he made several adjustments in settings that weren't done or done incorrectly when it was put together. I was asked to run it all weekend and see if it ever restarted on its own (which it hasn't)! They didn't charge me for more than the original $80 for the original home visit. They are a great group and I'd recommend their services anytime you have computer issues. Thank you, Anglie's List for your help in finding ComputerBase in Eugene! It appeared they are very busy, but they worked me in without complaint. By the way, they are easy to get to, just a block off of Delta Freeway!

+ -1 moreWe called to ask about service on a computer with a suddenly dead hard drive. The tech who answered was friendly and helpful, accepted our diagnosis of the problem, and quoted us a price of $150 to $200. We took the computer over late in the day on a Tuesday and were told we'd have the computer back on Friday. The tech asked us a few quick questions about the computer and, after gauging our needs, confirmed that a simple replacement (instead of an upgrade) was right for us. The computer was ready to go on Friday. They imaged the disc and replaced the drive, so the computer runs just like it used to -- what a relief! They also did a virus scan and made sure everything looked in order. Total cost? $150 -- so the low end of the initial estimate. We'd happily go back, and will likely turn to ComputerBase when it's time to upgrade.
Description of Work: They replaced the hard drive on our Toshiba laptop.
