Showed up with no help was supposed to have some. Also he shows up with his dog, whom he lets wander all over the neighborhood. Got a neighbor mad at us because the dog chased their cat(which was a plus for me btw) into their garage and sat outside of the garage barking at the cat. The dog scared the neighbors because they were caught outside the house with the dog between them and their garage. Unprofessional to bring a pet to a job. Made my family and I nervous also as we have tiny dogs. I have Parkinson's and he wanted me to help him move the piano up the stairs. My son in law had to help him and I still got charged full price. His delivery vehicle was a tiny pick up. Not much bigger than my piano! He vicariously secured the piano in it with the rear of the truck barely a foot above the ground! Piano was not protected well from the elements, it was pouring rain that day. He did not instill a great deal of confidence in my wife and i in his ability to successfully complete the job. Many times I had to go away as his methods and attitude were causing a great deal if anxiety. Finally piano was moved to new place, a large chunk off the bottom corner was gone and then I was informed that tuning would be extra. Plus he charged me more than agreed upon because he deemed 2 steps up to the front porch as a flight of stairs. On the other hand his tuning abilities were superb! Very knowledgeable and professional. I would hire him in a minute to tune my piano. Unfortunately he still brings his dog and let's it roam wherever. I will not be using his services again. The bad far out weigh the good. If he would address the negatives then I might reconsider.
Description of Work: Piano moved and tuned.

The organ, which is about the size of a studio upright piano plus the pedals, was in a duplex. It was difficult to get out, and he finally had to take it across the yard, which was left unscathed. Getting it into his truck and up a couple of steps into our house was not at all difficult. The organ arrived without a scratch. Rick's equipment doesn't look like much, but he has moved so many pianos and organs that it doesn't matter (we have used him before for more difficult moves).
Description of Work: Rick moved an electric theater organ across town for us.
